We loved our stay in the Frida House! It was the perfect location for our Christmas away from home with our college daughter who lives nearby and we are already planning a future visit. Location was fabulous, tucked away on a quiet street, but with all the restaurants and stores you could possibly need within minutes. Home was clean and comfortable, decor was warm and inviting. Truly nothing but positives to share! We will definitely book again!

We stayed here for one night during a cross-country drive with our two dogs. We specifically chose this place because of the fenced-in yard, hoping our dogs could stretch their legs after a long day in the car.While the host was very responsive, unfortunately, our stay was a bit disappointing. The house felt very worn and wasn’t quite as pictured - many of the furnishings shown in the photos were no longer there, and several things needed repair. For example, the back door to the yard couldn’t be opened due to a broken key in the lock, some window shades were ripped, and the living room TV wasn’t working. The yard itself, which was the main draw for us, had several holes in the fence, so we didn’t feel comfortable letting our dogs run freely. Although we could access the yard by a different door and the host kindly suggested we could move items to block the gaps, we felt it really needed a more permanent fix.To be fair, we were only there for one night and didn’t ask the host to address these issues immediately because we were tired and just wanted some rest. This place has potential, especially for travelers with dogs, but could use updates and repairs to make it more comfortable and secure.

It was easy to get to and met our needs for a girls weekend. The only reasons we couldn’t give it 5 stars were a few issues. The shower curtain was a little moldy, the blind in the living room is broken, and the lightbulb in the half bath was out.

The property owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with accommodations for our kiddos. She had already set up the travel crib, a high chair kiddo plates & sippy cup, and even set up a baby play mat and a baby walker. We were blown away with that hospitality. Everything was decently clean and we also loved how the kitchen had a large variety of spices and cold waters for us to use. The only negative impression I had was the amount of cleaning that was asked of us with such a large cleaning fee. Ill also add the neighborhood is lovely and we felt safe here. Overall, I would recommend this rental.

Cute house, good location

We just stayed at the Frida house with a family of 3, mom and baby, and my parents. The sleeping situation was perfect with 3 bedrooms. Sarah was super communicative and allowed us to checkin early to better accommodate our flight times. The house is very cute. Plenty of seating for the family both indoors and out.

We were in town for a wedding and this house had everything we needed. Cozy old house vibe in a quiet neighborhood, centrally located so everything in the city was a short drive. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit.
