On the southernmost tip of beautiful Barbados, in the tranquil Atlantic Shores, Christ Church area, lies Daydreams. Daydreams is located about two minutes from Freights Bay and a five minute drive from the popular Miami Beach and the historic town of Oistins.
Elegantly furnished, the apartment features two bedrooms and bathrooms. It comes fully equipped with a large kitchen, living room, dining room and spacious closets. Additionally, all major appliances are included such as washer, refrigerator, dishwasher,microwave etc. The upstairs balconies offer a view of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. . The apartment is air-conditioned and comfortably accommodates four persons. It is best viewed as a vacation home and not a hotel.
Oistins fishing town offers visitors a vibrant nightlife, resplendent with some of the tastiest local cuisine on the island. The apartments are midway between Freights Beach and Surfer's Point. High waves cause this area to be very popular with surfers world-wide. The island of Barbados is a beautiful amazing find for anyone wishing to immerse themselves in an island with a strong cultural heritage and kind, knowledgeable locals.

Great place to stay. Short five minute walk to Freights bay surfing access point. However, it is about a 20 minute walk to the very nice beach.

My second stay at this property. Can only recommend it. Equipped with everything one might need, spacious and clean.The location is simply fantastic, 3 minute stroll to South Point and Freights, 20 minute walk to the fish market in Oistins, close to the airport as well...Suitable for all kinds of groups.

Our family of 5 stayed for a week at Anna’s (spotless!) apartment. As pictured, there’s 2 bedrooms with a (large!) double bed in each, and a very comfortable sofa that can be made up with the extra bedding Anna provides. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, safe to go for a sunrise run (plenty of ppl out walking/running) and close to all amenities. The backyard is basic and adequate: perfect for kids to cool off/be entertained for a few hours after a beach day, and parents to chill poolside. Nothing fancy. Overall this apartment is excellent value, so don’t hesitate to book!

Fantastic location, ok rental

We've stayed in vacation rentals across the Caribbean for years. This rental was adequate -- plenty of space, good beds and showers, solid wifi, a great pool, and in a fantastic location. Supplies were bare bones -- no wash cloths or hand towels, no salt or sugar, no extra trash bags. Beach towels were an unexpected plus. Communication was not ideal.

Fantastic apartment

We had a great stay in Anna’s apartment. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely. Anna was really helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again if we visit Barbados again. 2 surf breaks on your doorstep and Miami beach was a 10 minute walk away.

Everything as described; great location

A quiet neighborhood in a great location. For surfers, South Point and Freights Bay are easily walkable.Just a 30 minute drive into town.The property is clean, bright and spacious and the pool worked great for our kids.Plus, Ana was super friendly and helpful when our flights arrived incredibly late at night!Can only recommend.

Wonderful Accomodations

We loved the place!!! It’s quiet and relaxing. You are within walking distance of Freights Bay and South Point if you like to surf. Miami Beach and Enterprise Beach are a 15 and 20 minute walk. You will need a car to get around. Anna is a fantastic host very accomodating!!! We will be back!!!

Excellent surfing location

The location to Freights for surfing was perfect! The condo was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed many of the restaurants around Oistins. Surfer”s Bay and Surfer’s Cafe were our favorite places to eat with beautiful views. We have two teenagers that surfed every day and there was a board rental company around the corner. The area is beautiful!

We found Daydreams on the VRBO site. Connecting with Anna was easy and all questions quickly answered. We rented a car (a must at this location) and enjoyed 2 weeks of sun and fun. Stay at Atlantic Shores

Just come back from a lovely 10 day stay at Atlantic Shores Villa over New Years. First of all the location is fantastic, just a short walk from Miami Beach… which for us is one of the best on the island…. And for those who wish to surf Freights bay is even closer. We spent many days down at the beach, it was effortless to do so… absolutely ideal. Oistins is a short beat beyond Miami Beach… their famous fish fry on Friday’s nights, shouldn’t be missed!The apartment itself is absolutely lovely. Modern and very well maintained, we found everything we needed for all 4 of us to really enjoy ourselves. A well appointed kitchen, the all important ‘strong WiFi’, air con… 2 lovely bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and showers… but what we enjoyed best of all is breakfast on the verandah watching the sunrise… and the all important sun downers at sunset. We didn’t use it, but there is also a large pool for those who want to cool off. It shouldn’t be forgotten… the all important washing machine was available which was really helpful during our stay.No stay is complete without and great host… and Anna is just that! Always helpful and very knowledgable about everything on the island! She even managed to secure us a vehicle to rent… (in what I now know! Is THE busiest time on the island… and try as we might we couldn’t find anything)… but Anna again came up trumps! Thank you Anna for being such a great host and sharing you home with us! We will be back!

DayDreams

Nice size apartments. Front and rear balconies over looking the pool and the street. Beautiful neighborhood. My wife and I would walk every morning down seaside dr and would watch the surfers. After a day of touring the island we would come back to go for a swim in the pool which we pretty well had to ourselves. Highly recommend this place. Thanks Anna!

Daydreams Apartment

The apartment was spacious, clean and airy and with a very pleasant and private rear area, complete with swimming pool. The location is quiet but within easy reach of Miami and Enterprise beaches, as well as the coastal path; it is also within a 10-minute drive of Oistins and within about a 15-minute drive of the airport. We appreciated the two en-suite bedrooms, each with access to the balcony, the good-sized fridge and the use of a washing machine. The kitchen was minimally equipped but met our needs. Having the landlady on site was helpful when we needed advice.

Great location, warm pool and kind welcoming family

We had a great time here and our 7 and 9 year old loved it. The house is in a quiet area away from traffic, one street back from the coast. We didn't have a car and walked the 5 mins to freights surf beach or 15 mins to Miami beach happily just avoiding the mid day sun. Oistins was just 5 mins more and had everything you need. We enjoyed the turtle filled surf at Frieghts and South Point. The house has everything you need and we cooked and ate in most days. The lovely Bajan host and family live there and my kids loved playing with them too. They kindly drove us into town the first night to show us around. Both bed rooms had air con. The pool was lovely and warm with some shade in the afternoon. It's was nice to watch the bats flying around at night. The whole place had a lovely vibe and we would love to go back!

Sunny Days

We realized after day one that we would need to rent a car. The owners daughter helped us with this and the cost was reasonable for a week. The apt was clean and had all the necessary appliances needed for our stay. The indoor and some outdoor furniture could use an upgrade at some point. We could walk to the closet beach in 10-15 minutes if we wanted. The car made our stay much nicer and we saw a lot of the island. Anna was a good host and very accessible if needed. We would stay there again if we come back. The pool was a nice bonus after a day at the beach.

Beautiful Barbados

We stayed two weeks and had an amazing time. The pool was perfect to cool off after walks and a day out. We had friends staying at the apartment next door and we basically had the pool to ourselves. Walking distance to surfing beaches and 20 minutes to popular Miami/Enterprise beach for fun in the ocean. The apartment had the basics but a stop at the grocery store before you arrive is a must to get basic food supplies. Anna organized a rental car which was a great deal and a must as this rental is not close to amenities, restaurants etc. We would recommend this beautiful place for a comfortable and relaxing get away

Great location, a car is helpful

This is a lovely neighbourhood that feels very safe. Lots of people out walking around and everyone is very friendly. It’s a short walk for surfing at Freight’s Bay. The walk to Miami Beach and Oistins is longer and doable is you’re used to walking. Anna was a lovely host and we enjoyed her home. The pool was a very nice amenity. We had the ground floor unit. Stocking in the kitchen is basic and we did have to buy some of our own staples (oil, salt, tin foil, toilet paper for example). The dishwasher is out of order which wasn’t a big deal for us. Overall the house is nice and we were very comfortable there. It was good value for the money.

Quiet, large upstairs two-bedroom

The host was surprised when we drove up. Apparantly had not seen messages or been notified by VRBO of our impending arrival. The place was very clean, the air conditioning in the bedrooms was quite effective and kitchen oven and cooker all work fine. The downsides were: a broken dishwasher, no clothes dryer (but outside lines worked fairly well), and lighting in the kitchen was not great. Can't see the countertops in the evening when preparing meals. The neighbourhood is very quiet and we spent hours on the outside deck enjoying the evenings.

Perfect location. Perfect vacation.

We had a lovely time at Anna‘s home. It was so nice to have a pool right out back for us to enjoy… The place is spacious, the beds are comfortable, windows open with the lovely ocean breeze. Air conditioning at night and a washer was an added bonus! It was central location for beach, grocery stores and a nice walkable neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay! We highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed it very much. Our kids and ourselves loved the great pool and the relaxing and peaceful athmosphere in the garden . The apartment was gorgeous: spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. It is conveniently located in the nice, quiet neigbourhood of Atlantic Shores, only a few minutes walking distance to the surf spot where both adults and kids can surf. Anna was a great host. She is very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We highly recommend this property. Thanks Anna for a perfect vacation!

Lots of space for two couples

The outdoor space was fabulous and having pool access was a bonus! Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was perfect. The kitchen had enough counter space for multiple people to help with meal prep. The location was great, close to Oistins and Enterprise Beach. Many spots nearby to watch the sunset. Anna responded quickly to communications, and was helpful in securing a car and the necessary PCR tests to return home. She was very open to feedback regarding a few minor blips with kitchen appliances.
