"Gorgeous decor. Fresh and clean. We were provided with plenty of towels and high quality linens. The bed was wonderful and the temperature was very comfortable. Centrally located and very walkable. Caution to anyone who has mobility challenges, the stairs to the second level where the bedrooms are located are steep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend The Jungle House."

"The Blackwell is an amazing hotel and facility right on OSU's campus, which is why it's amazingly convenient to so much, but also hard to get a room (and at a "normal" price) on busy times like parents' weekend or any home football game weekend. But if you can get a room at their normal rate on an "off" night, it's the best deal in town. Friendly and accommodating staff, a good bar/restaurant area, and a great breakfast room called 2110 makes it all you need for your stay. Very nice sized rooms...

Check-in instructions were not provided in a timely manner, and I initially had difficulty reaching anyone by phone and assessing the property. Although I later received a message apologizing for the inconvenience and offering a late checkout, this was never actually honored. When I followed up, both the late checkout and a brief extension for parking were...

"Overall, a really solid stay! The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room layout was actually well thought out — the couch setup made it feel a little less like “just another hotel room” and more comfortable for relaxing. Only two complaints: the indoor pool must’ve been filled directly from an iceberg in Alaska, and the body wash container in the shower was emptier than my wallet after vacation. 😂 Other than that, great experience and I’d definitely stay again!"
