"Sonya was lovely and welcoming. The cabins were simple but clean and tidy and had what we needed. Lovely fresh sheets and new duvee.We had sweet little calves in the paddock who were happy to come and say hello. We bought our food to cook. So used the big bbq. We could have done with some big knives but the small streak knives worked. And possibly a toaster for breakfast would have been good, but we stayed camping style and used the bbq. "We had the most beautiful stay here with our family of 9. we needed two of the rooms which slept 5 per room. The rooms were next to eachother and when we arrived the lovely host said they had moved the bbqs back so we could easily get to each room via the balcony instead of going out around the front. "A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays.
Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. "Needed a relaxing home base for exploring the Northland area and Abri Apartments was a great choice. Our hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation was extremely clean and updated. "Great location, right on the main drag. Close to ammenities, right on the beach. Room very, very, clean. Host very easy to talk to, extremely friendly. A couple of gifts were left in the fridge upon our arrival, nice surprise!
Night life activities not far away. Nice and private accommodations. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Gas station, grocery store just around the corner. Would definitely book here again. Highly recommended. A happy Canadian!"

"The apartment itself met our needs and it was amazing being right across the road from the beach. Great kitchen facilities and lovely warm space.
However, being on the bottom floor apartment means you can hear all upstairs and driveway noise which happened to be a lot during our stay and the parking is pretty tight outside the front apartments."
