Modernized A-frame house near Saksild beach

  • You'll find this charming wood-clad house just a few meters from the water, where the original A-house has been transformed into a modern cottage with clean lines and a special touch from the old brick floor.



    The heart of the house is the large kitchen-dining room with high ceilings and large windows that let the light flood in and create a perfect connection between inside and out. Four cozy rooms spread over two floors provide plenty of space for the whole family to retreat.



    The enclosed garden surrounds a spacious wooden terrace where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun or relax in the sun loungers. On the other side of the house you'll find another terrace, perfect for enjoying the last rays of sun on a summer day.



    From the cottage, you can explore the local cuisine with a visit to Mrs. Møller's mill or enjoy a gourmet dinner at Himmel og Hav overlooking Saksildbugten. Take a short drive to Aarhus for shopping and culture, or take a stroll along the beach to the cozy Saksild with Denmark's oldest mini golf course.

A really beautiful, quiet location, very close to the sandy beach and just a few minutes' drive from Saksild Beach. The house is very modern and bright and has a lovely garden with a trampoline.

A very nice and modern house, furnished to a high standard with great attention to detail. The place was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, so we had everything we needed. The house is in a very quiet location; you’ll need a car or a bike to run errands.

Klaus & Inge’s wonderful house looks just as good in person as it does in the photos! Stylish yet cozy decor. Everything is in excellent condition. A truly beautiful garden and absolute tranquility. The location is great, and you’re at the beach in just a minute. The surrounding area is perfect for day trips. Our highlights were: - Aarhus (city tour) - Saksild Beach and the surrounding coves - Groft Bakery - Fru Møller A few points that we think could be improved: - The beds are very small and short - The main bed creaks at the slightest movement - The bathroom is tiny and more like a wet room. The toilet is inside the shower. This could be arranged much better. It detracts slightly from the overall impression. All in all, we had a great time! Thank you very much 😊
