Please read this description in its entirety: Experience the 1920's in the 2020's in this hundred-year old home, authentically restored but with modern amenities. The home features a spacious living and dining area, sun room, two outdoor sitting areas, a spacious yard, and quiet bedrooms.

This Spanish Colonial Revival bungalow is situated in the beautiful Gulf Hills community, and is a five-minute walk from the Gulf Hills Resort, which provides golf and tennis, and Italy Terrace restaurant and bakery. Local wildlife, including blue herons, egrets, box turtles, and numerous bird species inhabit Gulf Hills. This neighborhood is ideal for walking and running, and Gulf Hills neighbors are friendly to visitors.

This property is 2.2 miles from downtown Ocean Springs restaurants, bars, boutiques, beaches, and Saturday farmers' market, and 5 miles from downtown Biloxi casinos, bars, restaurants, MGM stadium and beaches. Restaurants and easy access to golf, tennis, kayaking, and fishing are a just a few minutes' walk away. This bungalow is also within easy driving distance of Gulf Islands National Seashore's Davis Bayou, Walter Anderson Museum and Shearwater Pottery, Biloxi Seafood Museum, casinos, Shepard State Park, Ship Island Excursions, Tuxachanie Trail and much more. Keesler Air Force Base is a fifteen-minute drive away.

Pets are definitely welcome!

Caretaker maintains an office in a camper on site, separate from house, and stores tools in the basement. He will come and go at times, but will not disturb guests. Inquiries received after 7 p.m. will be answered the following morning.

The house is beautifully restored and we loved the historical information about the house and the area and the old time photos. The neighborhood is beautiful and it feels like you're in a park. It's very close to antique shopping, dining and the beach so there's lots to do.

10/10! We loved our 3 night stay. This bungalow is a true gem. It’s clear the home is loved and well cared for. Unique and special details throughout. Tons of windows and natural light. Very clean. Two great patios surrounded by trees and birds singing. Very relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

The Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful stay! The house is super cute - my wife was completely obsessed with the sunroom, and we both loved the thoughtful touches like the vintage photos and sweet notes placed throughout the home. Perfect location - just minutes from the golf course, beach, and tons of great restaurants. Carrol was a fantastic host - excellent communication and incredibly kind. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

2025 Spring Time on the MS Gulf Coast

This 1920s Spanish villa is super cool! And all the circa 1920s furniture and art in the house gives you the feeling of a century ago! And we saw Elvis at the Gulf Hills Inn, at least his form suite!

Lots of Character

We visited family while staying on the property. There was a nice backyard for our dog. The house had plenty of room for us to spread out. The neighborhood felt safe and was close to everything we needed. It was a unique, older home with so much character. We loved it!

Charming Cottage

This is our third year staying at the cottage. We booked again for next year. Carroll is the perfect hostess. We are greeted with fresh items in the refrigerator for breakfast, fresh flowers and plenty of wood for the fireplace to keep us cozy for the lenght of our stay, which is about a month. If for any reason we need to contact Carroll, she responds ASAP. She comes on a weekly basis and cleans, which includes changing the sheets, tiding up the kitchen and scrubbing the bathroom.The home is quite old, but well maintained and very charming with lots of antiques. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood in a golf community which feels very safe.I would definitely recommend this charming cottage.

Didn’t want to leave!

This historic house is filled with charm. We loved the sun room with day bed. Kitchen has a vintage Tappan gas range that was a pleasure to cook on/in. Spanish-style architecture included graceful arches and stucco walls. Lots of great reading material in book cases. House is in a wonderful old country club neighborhood. Owner Carroll is a superb host. Very focused on guests’ experience, and has provided so much in the house for guest use including bicycles. House is a five-minute drive from gorgeous downtown Ocean Springs. We lived it all, and will be back!
