"Booked a room facing the main parking lot but still had a great partial view of the ocean from our balcony! "Staff was friendly. Very comfortable bed. You can tell this motel is doing a remodel. Very clean and fresh looking. The room smelled clean not musty. There were to many dressers. Needed a small table and chairs to eat at. There was a large table very unusable with the chair in the room. Would work as a desk. Air conditioner was the only problem we had. "The location is great, right next to the Nags Head Pier, and close walking distance to local dining spots. Being right on the beach was a great plus. The rooms are clean and they have plenty of room. However, the beds weren’t the best, and I had an achy back most of the trip because of it. The A/C was working great, but was very loud. "This was in a very old house. Beautiful antiques inside. Very kind and hospitable post. She made a carrot cake that was absolutely amazing. We didn’t get to spend much time there as we were fishing early in the morning however, I would definitely recommend to stay. The beds are full-size but extremely comfortable."
