Ocean, ICW and Stellar Sunset Views Await You

Escape to the ocean, bask in the sun and leave your cares behind. A queen bed and brand new queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress provide sleeping for up to 4 people. Prep your meals in the microwave and store your snacks and drinks in the tall fridge with freezer. Brew your morning coffee (ground or Kcups) in the standard or Keurig coffee makers. Jam out to tunes while you shower with our bluetooth enabled bathroom speaker. Enjoy views of the intercoastal waterway, ocean and sunset from our top floor deck. Chill to the sounds of the summer concert series across the street on the sun deck or BBQ area. Relax by the pool after a busy day at the beach and explore the downtown area - beach, pier, park, restaurants, ice cream and shops all within walking distance. Enjoy the large flat screen smart tv during your down time and stream a movie or catch up on your favorite shows. Free ice maker and pay soda machine available on the 1st floor. Enjoy the touchless bathroom sink that keeps hand germs down - it runs automatically after each flush for 20 seconds. Basic kitchen supplies provided including plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, knives, dish scrubber & soap, hand soap and dish drying rack. Kitchen supplies include sugar, creamer, coffee, salt and pepper.

To set up the sofa bed, simply reach to the back center of the couch for a handle and pull towards yourself (leaving all cushions in place). The bed should roll straight out and cushions will be kept securely in place underneath.
*Please do not attempt to move the couch by lifting it by the arms as they will come off - it's designed that way ;)

This unit is at a revamped old motel. At first glance, the facility seems outdated and unimpressive but the room was updated, efficient, clean and well lit. TV worked well, plenty of hot water and a sliver of a view of the ocean out the window. We were there in January and no one else was at the facility at all. The location was convenient to everything in Ocean Isle. Host was promptly and accurately communicative.

The location of the property was good as far as walking access to stores, restaurants, and the beach! The room was a bit humid the entire stay, I had both ceiling fans on and the bathroom fan on, and our towels and swimsuits did not dry after hanging on the line over the shower for 2 days..

Perfect for a short get-away.

This place is just as described in the listing. The kitchen area was nice, but a few more items such as a toaster and blender would be nice. Perfect location for walking to the beach, the pier, mini golf, ice cream, the park, etc. The small pool was an added bonus. The owner was great to communicate with and very accommodating for my son’s birthday. I gave it two stars for cleanliness because there were a few spots on the floor, one of them sticky with hair stuck to it, and there was also lots of hair stuck to the sides and edge of the bathtub. The bed had two mattress covers on it. The blue mattress cover was dirty with some spots and debris (maybe crumbs?). We removed it and there was a second (and clean) mattress pad underneath.

Perfect location

Came down for a wedding so wasn’t looking for a fancy/expensive place. This place for our needs perfectly. Would be great if towels and sheets were provided but other than that, enjoyed our stay!

Nice retreat location

For my purpose of a writing retreat the location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and to Sheffield’s for supplies. Space was good for one person. Bed was comfortable. Only suggestion is that table lamps by bed and or floor lamp would improve lighting. And since there is only a microwave, microwave safe dishware would be a nice addition. Overall a nice little place!
