Contemporary features, coastal gardens, and outdoor entertaining offer the essence of relaxed, seaside living, just a short stroll to Blue Water’s Lake and The Groove Cafe.

The Space:
This stunning 3-bedroom home offers an unforgettable lifestyle experience. Occupying a commanding position with breathtaking Barwon Heads Bluff, ocean and estuary views, you will feel on top of the world. This place has it all to elevate your days - up here you will hear the roaring ocean acoustics and feel the cool sea breeze throughout the home.

The spacious, light-filled, open plan concept celebrates its south-facing aspect. Banks of floor-to-ceiling windows flood the stylish interiors with warm natural light and unobstructed views so you can gaze upon the silhouettes of the natural assets beyond. This culturally rich heritage area is a celebrated marine environment, known as the Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary.

Set in a quiet and exclusive cul-de-sac with no through traffic, this stunning three-bedroom residence is finished to the highest level, with distinctive cypress cladding serving to settle the home into its natural environment. The upper level incorporates an open plan living, kitchen and dining area with split system air conditioning and ceiling fans. Curl up on the comfy lounge and watch a movie on the TV (Smart TV - log in with your own Netflix/streaming account details to resume your own viewing history), relax with Wi-Fi and a great book, or be mesmerised by the views... An adjoining outdoor entertaining area with a BBQ and dining setting offers alfresco living with a spectacular aspect.

Beautifully decorated and set up to accommodate up to 6 guests, this is an ideal setting for a memorable family holiday, groups of friends or executive travellers. The kitchen offers high quality amenities including a coffee pod machine (starter set of coffee pods provided on arrival), combined with world-class views to make meal preparation a delight, and an adjoining dining area.

All bedrooms are beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels, making your stay as pleasurable as possible. The King-size master bedroom (with ensuite) is upstairs, embracing beautiful sea views. The Queen bedroom downstairs features water views and a TV, while the second Queen room overlooks the garden. Both have electric wall heaters and are serviced by a central bathroom (bath, shower, vanity) with a separate toilet.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the whole property. Parking only in the driveway of this Unit, or the visitor carpark. Not on the shared road/kerb within the Estate please.

The Neighborhood:
This residence is located in a safe and friendly private estate: Barwon Views Estate.
It is ideal for both the adventurous and those who want to kick back and relax.
All within the immediate area: surfing, windsurfing, SUPing (Stand Up Paddle), diving, bike riding, running paths, skateboarding, fishing and golf. If sitting back and relaxing is more your thing then choose from many of the beautiful surrounding beaches, parklands, cafes, bars, restaurants, spas, shops or designer boutiques to spend your time.

There are great cafes, bars and many restaurants on The Terrace, plus boutiques, clothing, shoes, swimwear, books, homewares and much more.

Ocean Grove has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks around the lake, along the riverside trails or the beachfront.

Getting Around:
Mariner's Retreat is within easy walking/riding distance to parkland and Blue Waters Lake Reserve. The Groove Café is the local favourite shop to get your morning coffee, yummy lunches and ready meals. More shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets can be found in three distinct shopping areas (The Terrace (main street), Kingston Village or Ocean Grove Marketplace. A single garage and driveway provide off-street parking for two cars, plus one designated spot in the Visitor’s car park. Strictly no parking on the garden edges of the Estate.

Closest train station 25km away (Geelong station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Ocean Grove is 1 hour 25 mins by car from Melbourne.

We were absolutely wowed when we stayed, we adored waking up to the breathtaking views and loved to watch the sunset through the grand windows overlooking the water at night. We would definitely stay again. Stay was super clean and well equipped.

This was a great house for a family in a quiet area. The house was very clean, quiet and comfortable with fantastic views over the water to the bluff and Barwon Heads. Great park for kids at the end of the street and a short drive to main street and beach. Windows to open in the master bedroom would've been good on warm days and steps would be a bit tricky if you were elderly or have small children. Overall the house and location was great and we would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely weekend here. We walked into Barwon Heads for breakfast, and the property was perfectly equipped with everything we need.

Selected the property for the views and was not disappointed We are short elderly people, needed to be a young basketballer to reach some controls and switches Second bathroom is very parley designed and would be a serious problem had there been two couples staying in the bottom bedrooms Suggest you need many towels as every thing is wet after each person has a shower
