Fountainhead Townhouse #1 is a luxurious beachfront townhouse. This four-bedroom, three-bathroom townhome has a furnished balcony overlooking the sway of the dunes and the ocean in the distance. It also has a separate apartment below the townhouse. This unit is the perfect place for you and your family to call home for a week! Fountainhead Townhouse #1 is one of Ocean City's finest vacation rentals.

The stylish living room is furnished with matching sky blue couches and a television. The couch doubles as a queen-size sleep sofa. The sliding glass doors allow plenty of natural light to brighten the space. Right off the living room is a dining area, perfect for cozy meals with the family. Next to the dining area is the spacious, fully-stocked kitchen. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a personal television, and balcony access. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, a personal television, and balcony access. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and two twin beds. The first and second bathrooms are located on the main and second floors. The downstairs apartment allows for some privacy and features a living area, a small kitchen area, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and the third bathroom. This property comfortably sleeps up to twelve people, so it's perfect for a family reunion!

Nice

We rented the property which went through Shoreline Properties. Sheila was very nice during the check in process. As we were checking in we found out there was a water leak in the unit and one of the bedrooms was unusable. Vaughn and Sheila were very nice and helpful to get the issue resolved and we still had a really nice vacation. The unit has a great location and great view of the ocean. A minor complaint was the unit is lacking some TLC by the owner.

Great location/Not great condition

Check in wasn’t as it should be. I felt as if I was in an assembly line. Very rushed. The location of the house was perfect. Especially for the kids. We opened the back door and they were in the sand. When we first walked in, the house appeared outdated but clean. As the week went on, we began to realize how filthy the place was. It is in need of a deep cleaning. The railings were particularly gross. Carpet is dirty and stained. Things stored under and sticking out from under one of the beds. No one wanted to sleep in the downstairs apartment because of the spiders and smell. We would have called the office but didn’t want someone there cleaning while we were not in the house.

Great location

Upper floors were clean but outdated. Lower apartment was musty, had flies and tge side outter door handle didn’t lock and only had a chain lock. Location made up for any downfalls though so we would definitely stay again.

Great ocean property, with easy access to the beach.

The location of the house was great, and it is a perfect 10. However, the house needs some renovations. The bedroom in the basement needs a lot of work and to be honest a bit disgusting. Nobody wanted to sleep down there, if that tells you anything. Also the Wifi was poor and did not reach all the rooms. They desperately need to install a wifi extender in the house. I would definitely consider staying here again only because of the location, but if they did some renovations, it would get my 5 star rating.

Perfect Location with Beautiful Views

This house has a good amount of space and the back area is perfect. Beautiful views off the deck with a sand area for the kids to play. Highly recommend this house.

Was great .....for the most part

We booked and stayed at this property with family. We were impressed and disapointment with the house and the management company at the same time. The location was great. There is a small bar/restaurant called Bourban on the Beach literally next door and Food Lion and Family dollar were across the street. The house was for the most part nice with expected amenities. The downstairs “apartment” was not. It had a really musty/damp smell when we arrived and there had clearly been water damage at some point. There was visible sand and dust on the floor and sofa. Having said that the smell improved dramatically (likely from running the AC). The bed in the basement is listed as a queen but it is a double/full. The ceiling was literally caving in and there was a hole in the drywall. The listing also stated there was an outdoor shower which there was not. There was a garden hose, but no shower. The remaineder of the house was as expected. This property is managed by Shoreline Properties. Check in was a breeze. Literally took about 1 min. They provided a little kit with dish soap, paper towel, instructions on wifi, etc... and staff was friendly. The dishwasher was not working and we called three times on three consecutive days. Each day having to explain the problem again (they did not have “record” that we called on the first day). At some point in time someone came but we were never aware. Just tried the dishwasher (for the hundredth time) and it worked. It would have been nice if they left a note/message to let us know the problem was fixed. The property was not cleaned well from prior renter. We called immediately and they did offer to send someone out but at that point we had already half unpacked so decided not to have them come. The bathrooms were clean. The kitchen needs a deep cleaning (smudges and grime along kitchen cabinet handles). Overall the property was nice, the basement was at a much lower standard than the rest of the house. The location was great. We had a few issues but the property managers were very polite and willing to “send someone out” right away. There is no outdoor shower and the basement bed is a double/full not a queen.
