Staff was wonderful. I'd offer people more water in the room, not sure I understood why minibar doesn't come stocked. But every staff person we encountered was just lovely.

Overall stay was fine. Location was very convenient for what I needed. Easy uber/subway to the national mall. The AC was very noisy.

We always enjoy our stays at The River Inn. One huge perk for us is that it is pet friendly with no extra fee. Walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and great shopping in Georgetown. Each room has a full kitchen too.
