"Very cosy alpine ski hotel. We had superior room It was very spacious and we had lovely view of the starry night sky from our balcony. The staff were really friendly but a few couldn’t speak to us as we don’t know German. So we did get ignored for breakfast order the final two mornings. Other than than breakfast was great! One other issue is no tea/coffee facilities in room so ended up being charged for tea every evening. "

"I had a decent stay here. On the positive side, the hotel is clean, maintained, and the rooms are comfortable, even if they run a little on the smaller side. The main drawback is the location. It is not particularly convenient if you are looking to spend most of your time in the city center. Getting back and forth took a bit of effort/time. Overall, if you don't mind commuting a bit for sightseeing or if you just need a reliable, clean place to sleep, it’s a fine option. Otherwise, you might...

"Hotel was close enough to old town Salzburg. Breakfast area was crowded. Room does not have phone for local use use or room to room calling. Our tv was slow to respond to change of channel."

"Very basic and mediocre place. Not terrible. But would be nice to have a kettle in the room for hot water at least. Also there was not hot water in the shower!"

"I did not realize until I had gotten there that we were staying at an adjacent addresss , not the original building. It was nice to have some access to the original building when we went for breakfast. There was construction going on near the property on the “mountain side” had I know, I would have selected the lake view. Breakfast was in a beautiful room and had a wide variety of dishes."

"I loved the location. However.... There were a total of 6 parking spaces for the entire hotel. Otherwise you had to be out of the public lparking ot between 9AM and 6 PM. It is on a busy, noisy street and since there is no air-conditioning you must sleep with the windows open. Too LOUD. The hotel is old and in need of renovation. It is also a maze of additions and confusing to get to rooms. Elevators are needed. The laundry is in another building."

"Hotel sehr sauber, Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Immer gut gelaunt. Essen sehr gut und absolut ausreichend, abwechslungsreich. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Aber auch entspanntes am Pool liegen ist möglich. Faire 10€ werden pro Ladung eines E Autos verlangt, egal wieviel geladen wird. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"
