- The small town of Kensington is located on the hills of the East Bay. The property offers an amazing view. However, you must be prepared to walk up and down the block if you are not using a car. Please be mindful of the steep terrain around the property and the steep driveway/stairs from the street

- Your safety matters. The property features 2 exterior security cameras located on the front and back doors, facing each entrance. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion

Stunning bay view

The view is amazing. The house is clean and quiet and equipped with all you need. We had a wonderful stay. It was a perfect place for what we needed but would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues or a driver uncomfortable with a narrow and steep driveway.

would go back in a heartbeat

First, the view is extraordinary - you look straight out to the Golden Gate and see the Bay Bridge to your left. This alone is worth the visit.Secondly, the property was as clean as any rental or hotel we've ever stayed in - so nice. Beds are comfortable, towels nice, kitchen fine (we didn't cook much). A small complaint is the limited number of devices allowable on the internet system. We were 6 people - most have a phone, computer and watch - and we had to turn off devices to let people access internet.Make sure to do the Rock Walks in the book available there - right in the neighborhood - and don't neglect the Blake Gardens 6 min walk away in the morning. Very interesting books left by previous guests I assume, well read crowd!

Perfect Spot for our Adult Sibs

We stayed at this house for our daughter's wedding at the Berkeley Country Club. It's only 2.5 miles away from the venue, has very comfortable bedrooms & bathrooms, and most importantly has a remarkable view from Sausalito to Oakland including San Francisco and both the Bay and Golden Gate bridges. Our siblings from Chico especially loved the view & dramatic fog that rolled in and out. The kitchen is nicely appointed also!

Excellent choice for our Berkeley visit

Very nice. Had minor concerns with loose rugs…tripping hazard… an pillows were not especially comfortable. Had a bunch of ants in kitchen drawer close to outside door. Otherwise all good!

The views are as advertised - spectacular. Comfortable and clean. Wonderful living room area for watching all aspects of the Bay Area weather rolling through. The driveway is pretty steep, but everything else was perfect.

Stunning Bay-View Vacation Rental in Kensington!

We were there to move our daughter in at UC Berkeley. The place was fantastic. The views were great and the house was very clean. We will definitely consider staying here again when we return.

Can’t beat the view!

We were there for a friend’s birthday party in the neighborhood so the home was super convenient for us. The house was comfortable but we really only slept there. The bed pillows could use replacing but, otherwise, it had all we needed. Thank you!

Stunning Bay View

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay. The view is stunning and the living and dining room areas are spacious. The kitchen is updated with new appliances and was clean and functional. We rested well in the bedrooms and the baths were supplied with toiletries. Our host communicated with us from the moment we booked and kept in touch before and during our stay. This VRBO will definitely be one we will stay at again.
