Our property boasts stunning lake views that will make you feel like you're on a houseboat right on the water. With lake views from three of our king en-suites, as well as the main and lake-level family rooms, it's like the lake views are the default artwork. Enjoy the picturesque views from the comfort of your bed or unwind in a hot tub at the end of the day while surrounded by stunning scenery.

Enjoy quiet reflections while fishing from your backyard or dock your boat from May through September. Our Deep Creek Lake vacation home has a backyard fire pit that's right on the water, S'more memories do not get better than this!

Deep Creek Lake is beautiful in all seasons! Bustling with activity in Summer, colorful in Fall, festive during holidays, front seat to winter sports in the winter, peaceful in spring! Enjoy water sports right from your backyard or make quick trips to WISP mountain adventures, DeepCreek State Park and Swallow Falls State parks, you are never far from fun when staying here!

Holiday lighting around the lake is icing on the cake. You can dock you boat, enjoy fishing and water sports right from your backyard in the summer. Fall colors around the lake are amazing and lake is peaceful in spring!

★8 min to WISP Resort with 33 slopes, snow tubing, snow boarding in winter, you can ski during day and enjoy the lake in the evening! Mountain coaster, chair lift rides in summer.

★1 min drive to Casual and fine dining: Lake side creamery, Firewater kitchen and bar, Ace's Run restaurant, Uno's Pizzeria, Honi Honi bar, Dutch's Silver tree, Arrowhead Grocery market. In summer you can kayak or boat and dock at lake side restaurants like Firewater kitchen, Ace's run, Uno's pizzeria, Dutch's Silver tree.

★King Bedroom 3: You should call dibs on the King suite at upper level which has the best lake views, a small private balcony and ensuite bathroom! Smart TV to chill at the end of the day!

★Bedroom 4: Upper level bedroom with 2 queen beds is perfect for kids sleep over with friends and cousins! No TV in this room!

★Bedroom 5: Upper level Queen bedroom faces the front of the house has a smart TV for your comfort!

★Futon in the attic for extra sleepers!

PETS:

★We accept house trained max 2 dogs, 200$/ stay. All dogs need prior approval, please message host with details. No cats.

PARKING:

★Adequate space for 4 medium sized cars in the front! You may be able to fit a large car with maneuvering. House is easy to access off Garrett Hwy. We provide snow plowing service in winter. Driveway has a slope and AWD vehicles are recommended in winter!

CHECK IN:

★Self check in with digital keypad door lock, personalized code will be provided 1-3 days before check in.

★Please note Docks are out of the water, Kayaks in storage now till mid April.★

Please refer to your cancelation policy + $150 processing fee. No refunds are issued for inclement weather barring mandatory evacuation. Getting Trip Insurance is highly recommended.

We’re surrounded by nature. It's part of the natural surroundings that make this area special. It's not uncommon to see wildlife like Deer, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Snakes, Mice, Rabbits, Birds, Bees, Ants, Spiders, Bats, and even the occasional Bear or Scorpion. We recommend keeping doors closed and food or trash properly secured.

RENTAL TERMS

• Signed rental agreement and security deposit are required within 24 hours of booking.
• Security deposit of $500.00 will be held 2 days prior to stay and released 7 days after stay if there is no damage.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at Hygge Memories. The house was beautiful and spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway! The lake front view was stunning - the perfect backdrop for relaxing and making memories! The location was ideal-close to everything, yet peaceful and private. The owners were fantastic to work with, friendly, responsive and truly made us feel welcomed! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great getaway!

We really enjoyed our weekend at this house—it was wonderful and perfect for a family getaway. The home had all the amenities you could need, and it was clear the host had thought of everything. Communication was excellent from booking through checkout, with quick responses whenever we had questions. The only small challenge was the driveway, which can be a bit tricky getting in and out, especially in winter. It wasn’t shoveled at first, but the owner had someone clear it within 30 minutes, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was excellent, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views of the lake are just as pictured. The house was clean and spacious enough for our group. My friends did a bit of kayaking but the water was too cold. I hope to go back in the summer when its warm for more outdoor activities.

The house was really great for our family. The back yard area and decks with a view of the lake are wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked, but we had to buy handsoaps for Bathrooms. The only reason I rated 4 overall is the location on a busy road which was noisy at night when trying to sleep. The driveway entrance scraped the bottom of our car, which my husband definitely wanted to let you know. You have to be strategic about entry/exit if your car sits low

We loved our whole experience at this house. Once we arrived, we never moved our vehicles because there was so much to do. A boat rental is two doors down from the house, and we decided to rent one for three days. So we spent most of our time on the water. If we had to go to the store, we traveled to one via the boat. We wanted to go out to eat a couple of times, so we traveled there on the boat. There are many nice places to eat like Dutch’s Daughter and Firewall, and the Creamery is a few doors down from this house. The pier provided a lot of fishing opportunities and the fire pit area was cozy for evening fires with the family. The house was nicely designed and decorated. We especially enjoyed the infinity table with the children. The family room in the lower level has a very large sectional sofa with oversized ottomans which hosted a family movie night. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Hygge Memories Reflections

The property was very nice and was essentially as advertised other than normal wear and tear since the pictures were taken. Front porch paint could definitely use a touch up.Things to resolve:1) Keurig coffee maker lid required a weight on top to stay closed2) Basement shower nozzle was loose3) We had 9 people. There were only 8 seats at the dinner table. That would be a big problem in a group actually maxed out at 14 people, especially in the late fall through early spring when you can’t eat outside 4) There were three propane tanks but two were empty and we emptied the active one5) Knob on the basement dresser drawer was not connected6) We had a fair amount of carpenter ants and other small insects!Suggestions:1) The deck should have a gate for pets and small children.2) The dock should connect better to the grass. There was a slope that was treacherous when wet, especially for the two folks with some mobility issues3) Cupboard space was very tight. Plates, cups, bowls, and pans could be consolidated.That said, the major problem was the basement water leak that we discovered the last day. The water completely saturated the basement floor board so that water seeped through the tile and onto the area rug. Without proper remediation, this could become a mold problem. Due to this problem, two of the three families left early on Friday since they could not use the basement. I would hope that some sort of refund should be offered for that.

Late May Stay at Deep Creek

Our extended family attempted to beat the summer rush by booking the shoulder season right after Memorial Day (May 27th) failing to account for the much cooler weather at altitude. It was too cool for most outdoor activity, but we were able to make good use of the well equipped "penthouse" game room and other features of the house. Overall a great place to stay inside also!

A little bit underwhelmed

The house itself was beautiful. Very great location and walkable to the restaurants and shops. The place itself had a couple issues. In the photos they had the dock in the water. That was what we were looking forward to but when we arrived we did not have the dock in the water. It was a huge disappointment to show up and not be able to fish on the dock. The next issue we had was that there were not enough towels, paper towels, toilet paper, or garbage bags. We had to purchase all of those things ourselves when we ran out and it was very inconvenient. The fridge was very bare and did not even have any condiments or water, this was disappointing because again we had to buy everything ourselves. The final thing that really was not great was that the hot tub was dirty and filled with sticks and bugs. The water was too low and it definitely needed more water and to be cleaned. Overall the house was great but not at all worth paying top dollar for a place that is clearly just run by a management company who doesn’t seem to care about much more than a buck. There were many things in the house that needed repairs that must have just gone to the back burner Great location, beautiful home, tons to do with the kids and family, but overall disappointed for what we paid for. It was not what the listing made it to be.

Exactly as advertised, great for groups!

We stayed here with five couples and had a great weekend! Everyone had their own room and there was so much space, we never felt crammed. The house was exactly as advertised, no issues, and the hosts were extremely communicative and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot on the lake!

Very Nice!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and we were definitely comfortable with six adults and three kids. The morning sunrises were beautiful over the lake. The property management was excellent. The only minor issue is the road traffic. It can get a bit loud but it’s not unbearable. You also need to be careful if you have a pet or kids when walking in the front of the house.

A Fall Getaway

Great central location right off busy Garrett Highway. Nice amenities, could even suit 3 distinct groups with sleeping for 14. Walk out lower level directly to the lake, steps away. Nice hot tub, dock and kayaks. Fun game table and some arcade games if children come along. Enjoyable evening by the fire pit with s'mores! Easy to find, easy to book, responsive owners.

Wonderful Views

Very well-kept property with wonderful views! Great amenities inside and out. View from the hot tub is amazing. Kayaks and life jackets were a very nice addition. You can easily put them in the water right from the back yard. Nice touches inside with the gaming table, foosball, and more! We played plenty of Pac Man. Kitchen has everything you need with quality cookware, spices, coffee and a nice snack basket. You can hear some road noise, but the house and amenities are very nice. All the parks are within 15 minutes and restaurants are 5 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay

We had a great family vacation at this property, completed with a boat rental from bills marine just two doors down. House was very clean with only a few notable exceptions. Driveway/parking was ample for two SUVs and a super duty truck. Would love to stay there again.
