"Overall a nice stay. Property could definitely use some updating but not a bad place to stay. Staff was all nice and helpful when needed. Breakfast left a little to be desired but ok for an extended stay hotel. "

"Our family of 8 including grandparents, adult kids, and grandchildren had a wonderful time at this property. We all live in the twin cities and suburbs and decided to rent this property which was only a short drive for all of us. The property was just as described as shown in the VRBO posting so there were no surprises. Video games and the pool kept everyone entertained the whole time. "We loved our stay at this downtown home! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Stillwater. It was very comfortable for the 9 of us and had more than enough space to cook, lounge, and relax. The place was even nicer than the photos and you can tell that a lot of thought went into the details. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were all so comfortable. "Brenda is a wonderful host, the neighbors are quiet and friendly, the space is clean, the bed in the main bedroom is comfy (I didn't test the other one) and the AC units worked perfectly. Any time I had a question or concern, Brenda responded quickly, professionally and with kindness. Thank you! "

"Lovely property in a really cool historic building! Host was communicative and very helpful during scheduling and check-in. Thoughtful touches like a blanket in the living room and ear plugs on the nightstand, very comfortable couches and beds. Main St was much louder Friday and Saturday nights than we expected for a winter weekend, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to noise when sleeping. Overall, a great experience!"

"Jane's place had plenty of room for us to visit. We stayed here for our high school girls get together. We sat on the deck to catch up with each other. The dining room table was the perfect spot to play cards! There are plenty of beds. The home has beautiful wood work and furnishings. We took a walk down to the beach to watch the sunset! So glad we found this rental!"

"Close to Macalester College"

"We’ve stayed at this house for 4 years now and it’s always been a wonderful experience. The place is cleaned, well-maintained, and the hot tub is in good working order. The lakeside location is quiet and offers a nice view. Would certainly recommend!"
