Ocean View Third Row Home

This 3 bedroom 2 bath home is tastefully decorated with a beautiful coffee porch off of the primary bedroom, king in upstairs primary, 2 twin beds upstairs and queen in downstairs, large wrap around porch screened in the back. TVs in all bedrooms. OLED TV in living room. Great views 50 yard walk to the beach. Kayaks available for use. Fenced in back yard. This is third row home in the middle of two really nice beach accesses. Dog friendly for up to 2 dogs medium size.

We do have a gas grill and a charcoal grill.

The host was excellent in communication and responded promptly to our questions/requests. The house was as described, and we had no issues. However, the kitchen countertop and cabinet doors had food splatter stains. Also, the towels had hair strands and residual dust.

Great location to the beach. We were able to easily walk there. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our few days at the beach. We didn't have any issues while we were there. Check-in/Check-out was very easy and went smoothly.

My family's house on Oak Island was prep central for a family wedding. For our sanity, my husband and I rented the "Ocean View Third Row House" for a quiet place for us to escape the chaos and remote work for 10 days. Coming from a 2-step house, we laughed that we got our daily steps in going from driveway to second floor bedroom. The master bed was very comfortable. We took advantage of the "coffee deck" a few mornings then repuposed it as the "wine down deck" a couple of evenings. The kitchen was by far the best stocked - fully equipped !!- in a rental that we've encountered. The house has smart TVs in every bedroom and the living room. The front door's smart lock is easy to operate. The property is a 4-7 minute drive to either island grocery store. Depending on your walking pace, it is 4 minutes to the beach - no need to drive. I messaged the host once during our stay. He replied quickly. Excellent customer service. Should our family's house not be available, my husband and I definitely would return to this property.

Fun Family Time

We loved this house! The decor and amenities were fabulous- we were very comfortable the whole time. The home is a short walk to the beach-kind of in between two different accesses so take your pick. The beach can get a bit narrow during hightide, but it seemed like the access we choose was a bit more wide and less crowded than some of the other areas. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in backyard. Jarrod, the owner, was very good at communicating with us when we had questions. This was our first time to Oak Island, and we will definitely consider coming back and renting this house again. Hopefully, next time we can watch one of the many turtle nests hatch!!!!

Great Beach Getaway

Great beach house within walking distance to 2 public beach accesses. House had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor space and all the porches. The fenced yard was great for our dog. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beach house in Oak Island.

Great Home and Location

The home is well laid out and really close to the beach. Only about 2 miles from restaurants and grocery stores too! Really nice fenced in back yard for easy dog care! There were board and card games along with TV’s in every room.

Great communication

Great location and excellent communication. There was a miscommunication that caused us to arrive to a very dirty house but Jarrod got the cleaners there very quickly. They did a good job but this is a very pet friendly house. There is pet hair all over furniture, chewed dog bones under furniture, and a yard full of dog poop. If you aren’t going with an animal, it’s a fair warning. We enjoyed our stay though and would recommend.

Nice & super pet friendly!

Beautiful home with great character with amazing and friendly owners. Owner communication and was top notch, much better than large companies & realty offices. The wrap ground porch was amazing with a nice fenced yard that allows for peace of mind for fido. My family & I truely enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again! Already recommended to family & friends!

Break from Winter

Booked for 12 days, weather was WONDERFUL! This was our first off season trip and we are hooked!Host was excellent to communicate with and so helpful with any need we had. It was a warm, very quiet, relaxing vacation. The home was perfect with everything we needed to dine in. And the hardwood floors throughout are beautiful!

Beautiful home, great location

We loved the property. The house was beautiful, well stocked and very comfortable. The proximity to the beach was ideal - we walked there every day. We also enjoyed being close to restaurants and grocery stores. We would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting Oak Island.

A Happy Thanksgiving!

Best Place Ever

We stayed a week and everything was perfect beautiful home and well kept easy conversations before we got there kitchen was well stocked. My daughters family had the upstairs and I had bedroom downstairs. We had a great week with our four legged boys nice fenced in back yard! Can’t think of anything to change Perfection!
