    House Rules

    1) Must sign rental agreement and golf cart agreement upon booking.

    2) Must submit a $500 off-platform security hold that will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure

    3) Must upload a copy of your Photo ID

    4) Must be over 25 to book

    5) Must follow all house rules including but not limited to no smoking and no parties.

    6) Dogs are allowed up to 3 dogs maximum with a $100 per stay fee, must clean up after your pet and must be crated if left unattended. No dogs allowed in the swimming pool. If dog hair is found in the swimming pool, you will forfeit your security hold.

    7) Pool heating is complementary if requested. Please note it takes 24 hours for the pool to heat.

My family had a wonderful week at Sawyer’s Sandcastle. It’s a beautiful home and very well cared for. We have stayed in some homes that look beat up but this home is a gem. It’s everything you see in the pictures and more. We will definitely be back

Great family vacation at Sawyer’s Sandcastle. Host was great, explained everything, even had a welcome package. Perfect location and Plenty of room for family to spread out. Views from the many decks were amazing with ocean views and ICW views. Pool area was great with added putting green and TV. Visiting the point on included golf cart at sunset was a fun treat for kids. Will visit again.

We had a great week at sawyers sandcastle! Clear communication for check in and the house was very accommodating for small children. There is a little bit of everything on hand for everyone to use if you forget something.

One of the best beach vacations!!

Sawyers Sandcadtle was perfect for our family.. the right size and all the bells & whistles. It’s a gorgeous home in a great location, we loved it!

Great Vacation House

We were thrilled with this amazing property! The owner & property manager went out of their way to make us feel welcome & insure that we had a wonderful time—which we did!! I highly recommend this beautiful house with the perfect location to enjoy the beach & see amazing sunsets over the inner coastal & sound!

Romeli was excellent to work with from the start. The property manager, Aelisch, was extremely helpful and communicative. The home was very clean which I know is difficult with sand at the beach but this property was immaculate. It was EXTREMELY stocked with kitchen supplies, pool & beach accessories, and other various perks like children's gear (strollers, pack 'N play, etc). It was perfect for our families— the location was primely positioned right between beach public access and the sound. We were just a short drive from Publix & The Beach Pantry so it was easy to pop out (by golfcart!) and grab anything we needed. Also, huge benefit to be within walking distance of the brewery and marina if you decide to rent a boat for the day. Overall, highly recommend and would consider booking this property again!

Relaxing getaway to Oak Island

Our long weekend stay in Oak Island was relaxing and a perfect getaway. The home is beautiful with an amazing location allowing views of both the coastline as well as the intracoastal. We will definitely return and rent again! Thank you!

Great!

Perfect location for a group to stay!! A very short walk to the beach and the brewery next-door. Lots of people watching at the boat ramp. The pool was also a huge hit. Great experience!!

House is exactly as advertised and wonderful. Communication with owner and property manager is 12 out of 10, checked in on us and if anything is needed response time was amazing. Location was great a block to the beach and also to the waterway. Great view from every porch. Had a great time seeing the island riding the golf cart. Thought it was especially thoughtful in the welcome package not only was there a gift card to the local restaurant but also a bag of dog treats for a fur companion. Will absolutely be back.

Family Vacay

This property was amazing! The owners provide you with everything need and more. All of the beds were super comfy and the house was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. The pool was one of our favorite spots! The location of this house is absolutely perfect, especially if you are a kayaker. The boat launch is practically in your backyard and was well loved by my husband. The beach access is across the street and easy to get to. The owners have provided you with several beach chairs and floats for the pool. This was absolutely one of the best houses we’ve ever stayed at and plan to stay again next year.

Great beach trip

Sawyers Sandcastle was a relatively new, pet friendly home about 1 block from the beach. It was pretty clean for a pet friendly home although I still swept a lot of other pet hair up😃. Everything worked great. The pool was very nice. The views were great of the sound and the beach and the sunsets were divine. The house was well equipped. We noticed the air filters were extremely dirty and we contacted the property owner and they immediately replaced them. I would recommend this property!

Sawyer's Sandcastle is an absolute gem. We've been coming to OKI for years and this might have been our best experience yet. The house is in a fantastic location for enjoying all OKI has to offer, close to Lonerider Brewery, the Point, and with a convenient beach access just steps away. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully appointed for families, and packed with amenities. Smart TVs in every room, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, covered decks with nice seating on both levels and both sides of the house, a golf cart, pool - and pet friendly! The incredibly responsive owner and property manager made for a smooth and enjoyable stay. And we appreciated the well beach shed packed with chairs, a beach cart, sand toys, pool floats, and more. The house also features stunning views of both the sound and the beach - meaning sunrise and sunsets are both spectacular. This property has everything you could possibly want to enjoy Oak Island to the fullest with friends or family.

Amazing property with great amenities and location!

This property was perfect for our large group of 11 people. The house had plenty of space for everyone to sleep, relax, and hang out. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, such as towels, linens, kitchenware, and Wi-Fi. We loved having access to the beach and pool items, such as chairs, umbrellas, toys, and floats. The beach and the pool were both just a short walk from the house, which made it easy to go back and forth. The house is also near a restaurant that offers live music on weekends, which added to the fun atmosphere. The music was not too loud and stopped at a reasonable time, so we did not have any trouble sleeping. The management was amazing and always available to answer our questions or help us with anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing and fun vacation.
