We did not stay here .. it had not been prepared for a paying guest... i have pics if you want them. We were refunded our money...

Nice view and close to town

The view is beautiful and great location close to town. There are some items that need to be addressed which include the yard not being fully fenced. The road in front of the house has high speed traffic and no one would see your dogs close to the road. Please correct the listing. There are busted up ergonomic chairs in the backyard that should be thrown away and replaced. The outside back of the house needs lights bulbs replaced. The master bed did not have a fitted sheet just a top sheet and comforter. There were extra comforters in the master closet but were to small for the master bed and there were not any extra sheets anywhere in the house nor in the garage where the rental company said they would be. The living room sliding glass door may be difficult for some people to open. The washing machine had an error message on it so unusable. It was almost an hour late before we could check in as the cleaning lady was still there and not finished but yet we were expected to be out on time. They also said that if any friends were coming over they could only stay for a few hours and having to sign the rental agreement that protected the rental company but nothing that protects the short term rentals.

Adorable Cliffside Rambler!

We had an excellent stay at this adorable cliffside rambler, overlooking the Salish Sea to beautiful Victoria and the majestic mountain range of the Olympic National Forest. The home was clean and comfortable and well stocked with appliances, flatware, dishes, pots/pans, etc. Cell service can be weak in the area depending on your provider, however the high speed internet was reliable. The property manager was courteous and VERY responsive. Be careful when exiting the driveway as the bushes, though beautiful, give a large blind spot to oncoming traffic, especially for southbound traffic coming from the north (left as driving out). My only complaint is the unexpected $45 charge (via email) for potential accidents that I didn't see in the listing. I suppose they've been burned before, so please be respectful to the home of the fantastic host(s).

Worst VRBO Experience

I have been renting properties for over a decade. I love utilizing the option and have had amazing experiences until now. This was the worst experience I have had. Marbella property management conducts very shady business practices. Though I paid for the rental in full, they would not give me the address and check in information for the property until I gave them pictures of both sides of my ID, pictures of my credit card and another NONREFUNDABLE payment for damages. This nonrefundable payment was to "enhance" my stay. In addition, I was required to provide the pictures of my ID and credit card AND the additional charge on a sketchy website outside of VRBO. I called the management company and told them I was not comfortable with there process, but they were unrelenting. Also, I think there was a language barrier as I could tell that the person was reading their responses and trying to pronounce words. So I am not entirely sure Marbella's representative on the phone fully understood my concerns. I called VRBO twice to report the issue. VRBO did try to help me as I was not willing to provide pictures of my identification and credit card online. Marbella property management was completely uncooperative and did not provide the check in information or the address of the property. Do not try to rent from this company as it truly seems like a fraudulent organization and the VRBO post does not outline these rental requirements and additional nonrefundable charges.

Great views

This is our second time staying here. The home is very comfortable and clean. Plenty of space to spread out. The view of the ocean is beautiful. Will stay again if we come back to this area

Trip from heck!!!

We drove 4 hours in snow 15 minutes before we got there they said we could not stay ! Had to drive another 3 hours home in dark and snow! Seven hours on road, they place hung up on us when we asked to speak to manager and would not answer. No compensation, one of my worse travel experience ever!

Hidden Cameras, Rude Owner, and a Creepy Dungeon

It was terrible from the initial point of sale. Unpleasant owner offering no flexibility, poor communication and support for all of the deficiencies inside and out of the property. Had no internet (no cell service here), no working TV, but had cameras/monitors inside and out. When I tried to cancel due to the use of cameras, he stated cameras are now a VRBO requirement…creepy at best, and a total invasion of privacy. Beware of the rotting floor (leading to a scary dungeon) in the master. Yard was a mess, with sand, trash and dog feces everywhere. Be advised, this property is on a high cliff that is eroding. Not a place to bring small children.
