"We loved our stay. The house is spacious and comfortable. I wandered around for hours admiring all of the quilting and weaving art in the home - not something you see much in vacation rentals. More than well equipped, and the host was super helpful but gave us space. Will return without hesitation. "

"Very nice place to stay. Quiet area. Clean house and Kree is very responsive. I do think that Expedia and Vrbo need to work out the integration issues that if you rent a Vrbo through Expedia, tracking that via Vrbo is non-existent. Makes it tough to communicate with the Vrbo host due to that issue (they may not be able to find your reservation). Expedia really should get this resolved ASAP."

"Jason and Laurie have a clean, bright home that’s perfect for families. The kitchen has all the tools you need to cook a full meal. Everything was very clean. It was nice to walk down to the lake and say hello to the chickens. Some of the neighboring properties do look like junk yards as other reviewers have noted, but you don’t see that from the house. It’s a great spot for visiting Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Telluride. Good spot for birders too with the lake. Jason was very responsive to...

"Other than being a little bit outside of town, 5-minute drive to town center, this was as good as it gets. Very clean, extremely well provisioned (laundry pods, shampoo, cooking supplies, etc.), quiet and spacious. From the back porch we routinely observed deer and sheep. Could not have asked for more."

"We live in Grand Junction and my husband has a doctor in Montrose that he sees for his lungs and COPD treatments. We had fire in our house in GJ and they are still working on repairs so we stay in a camper traileron our property. We have used the Montrose trips as a get-away and out of the trailer"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week long visit. The location is out of the way and perfect for relaxing in nature. We drove into Telluride and Ouray and appreciated being able to visit both. The house was the most well stocked vacation home we've ever rented. The beds were all quite comfortable. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay a little further away from town, to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. "
