"We had a wonderful time at the schoolhouse! Everything was as described and our family enjoyed a relaxing, but fun weekend. The building was stocked with all the things that one might need. We enjoyed the time we spent in the schoolhouse and our visit to Mohican State Park, which is also beautiful. I highly recommend staying at this unique property. Thank you Garrett for making everything go so smoothly and for maintaining such a lovely historic property."

"We enjoyed the apartment and all of its 1970's paraphernalia. I grew up in the area IN the 1970's so it was all a blast from the past. It was clean and loved that they welcomed pets. Check in and check out was easy. We had some trouble with a broken coffee maker and the bed was rather hard. But owners were responsive. "

"The property ended up being exactly what we needed, affordable, centrally located. A really quick walk to the carousel and to main Street in downtown Mansfield. But the property was far outweighed by the host. Jeff was quick to respond to any issue to problem solve and to take care of us, us and our situation. "The pictures shown in the photos did not match what was inside of the house. At all. In fact, there wasn’t even a couch to sit on. No comfortable seating anywhere. If I wanted to stretch out, I had to lie on the bed. There was an outdoor wicker set for the living room furniture and the “couch” didn’t even have a cushion on it. Just bare wicker. The water was full of iron and had a strong, metallic smell to it, making showers very unpleasant. There was orangish red stains on all of the faucets...

"Communication with the host was great, but the house itself had a smell to it and didn’t seem very clean (we swept up pet hair from the floor that didn’t belong to us). We also had cop cars with sirens on the road twice during the night. We decided to go home vs. stay for our second night. The pictures posted make the place look in better shape than reality. Overall, it met our needs, but I would not stay here again. "
