"It was an idyllic weekend getaway with my daughter at Robin’s Nest. Our favorite part was looking forward to spectacular sunsets on the terrace that sits above the lot! The terrace had plenty of comfortable furniture where we could enjoy the view, eat, listen to music and talk. The actual unit was cozy and intimate with a great air conditioner that kept us cool though it was very hot outside. "Our daughter got married this past weekend. We were looking for a place that was pretty close to the venue since we lived out of town that would accommodate our large family. We luckily found this lake house at Badin Lake. It was absolutely perfect for our family and accommodated all of us. We love the game room and the view of the lake. Every day from every part of the house was gorgeous. We definitely will be back."

"Beautiful property in a recently renovated home. We had 7 adults and 3 little ones and were great on space. Deck under cool tree cover was nice!"

"Parking was convenient even for our F-350. Plenty of room for folks to spread out in the living area and kitchen. Upstairs suite would be a PLUS PLUS for family gatherings as you have privacy in your own sitting area, etc up there. Would not recommend for someone with climbing issues/knees/hips etc as steps go up to the main floor and then lots of steps to top suite. But we are in our mid 70s and did NOT have any issues of same. Recommend this VRBO, we do. "

"A tidy, clean and well appointed apartment located on the ground floor of a home in a residential neighborhood. Occupants enter by walking a stone path to the rear of the home. Lovely wooded backyard makes for a nice view from back patio. The host is first rate. Very communicative and kind. Ideal for the two night stay we had. We would return if back in Concord area again."
