"8th Street Blues was great! Spacious and easy to get to. We took the Amtrak train into La Crosse and it was a very short uber to the property. It was also within 10 mins of downtown and the river, which was great for when we had some downtime. There was plenty of room for two couples and even space for more if needed. Would definitely recommend going forward!"

"Loved the large screened porch and private yard! Inside the cabin was clean and comfortable. It is the only place on the last hundred yards or so of a dead end road. A short walk from the Mississippi River and a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk to a beautiful State Park with great hiking. If you are a light sleeper the trains might be an issue but we thought it was cool to have those distant train whistles."

"Cabin was perfect for our family vacation. Had everything we needed and the hosts were helpful and promptly answers all our questions. "

"The house was simply wonderful and Signe was a gem as a host. We stayed for a couple of nights during our honeymoon and enjoyed our stay immensely! Classic china and silverware, old draperies and bedsteads and a beautiful little house in a quiet, homey neighborhood. It was lovely! Thanks so much!"

"Every year our group of college friends (6 women) do our best to get together for a long weekend. We went to school in La Crosse so it holds a special place in our hearts. This property was absolutely PERFECT for our stay. We were able to walk to our favorite restaurants and enjoy the river. This property allowed us all to be together in one space rather than spliting 2 hotel rooms. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well stocked! Plenty of dishes, garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, towels,...

Location is great, got to see barges pass each other along the lazy river, many golf opportunities, and supper clubs abound. Scenic and quietOur group likes to visit different VRBO's but the group wants to come back to this location! That's a first. 5 stars"
