"This home was easy find, lots of parking, great accessibility to unload stuff. It was clean and neat with lots of space. Communication with the host was great and the beds were very comfortable. Even had great water pressure in the shower! Seemed to have everything on hand we had forgotten and was easy to get in and out. Highly recommend! "

"This place offers the bare minimum to guests and feels depressing. It technically has all the things it says, but the air conditioning is on the porch and not the bedroom or main area of the house, the kitchen exists but isn’t stocked enough to cook in, and the kayaks are there but you have to walk through 10 feet of mud to get in the lake. It’s on a main road and is loud. It’s not peaceful, so we complained about all of these things and left after one hour. It was worth going to a better place...

"We had a great time staying at The Heron House. The location is close to great restaurants within walking distance. We were close to Woodland Glasshaus at Bavaria Downs, where our niece was getting married. It was a great place to gather our family with our adult children. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality! "

"Excellent experience at this property. The property manager responded so quickly to any communication sent both leading up to the stay and during. Quite neighborhood, close to parks. Great house layout for a large family with children. The house came with many thoughtful perks (coffee, laundry, charging outlets, etc.) 10/10 would recommend! "

De plus elle est bien située car les plages,le chemin de randonnées, le port de Barfleur, les commerces et restaurants sont accessibles à pieds. Notre hôte est accueillante et à l écoute. "Home was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Neighborhood was very quiet, including the wild turkys and deer that came to visit us daily. Easy access to highways. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Minnesota area."

"Great location, great spot, fantastic family home. We stayed here with our adult children, amazingly decorated, kitchen had fantastic cooking utensils, pots, and pans. Small touches like the charging station, water and coffee to get you started till to run to the store . Great water pressure in shower , nice large dinning table for family board games .. close to the city and the cute excelsior neighbor. "My family and I met in Waconia for a small family reunion. The home was beautiful, extremely clean, all the amenities, very spacious. We could not have asked for better accommodations. Thank you for an amazing week! "

"The photos of the house don’t do it justice. What a beautiful home. We had 11 guests from ages 21 to 88. The location is amazing, who doesn’t want to wake up to look a beautiful lake. The house is well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The “toys” to entertain the family was wonderful. Other than shopping we had everything we needed. Couldn’t be happier with the choice for our family. Thank you for letting our family enjoy your place. "

We were a group of 6 cousins and spouses and each of us have several locations to hang out quietly, engage in conversation with another party or, get together for group discussions. The home is spotless and the host/Lee provides many extras. Lee always responds on a timely basis and goes above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your time there"
