"These were cute little cabins, rustic, but clean and tidy with everything there for staying for awhile. AC too. We were on the water and the geese welcomed us in the morning! The cabin had a screened in porch with comfy chairs. There was a nice little beach with kayaks to use, a fire pit and firewood for each cabin. The bed was comfy. It was nice and we would definitely visit again."

"A lovely respite from the hustle & bustle of the outside world, yet conveniently located to hiking trails, grocery stores, and tourist attractions. "We had a wonderful time staying for the Fourth of July weekend! Everyone was very quiet and respectful and the area was very clean! 10/10 would recommend and we do plan on coming back next year!"

"Beautiful place right on the lake. Very basic accommodations, we really only slept there. Perfect for what we needed. I had trouble with the television, couldn’t figure it out. We were trying to watch the Celtics playoff game. Emailed the host I didn’t get a response Until the next day. Ironically, in her email, she said “ Don’t hesitate to reach out “ and she was “available 24/7”. We ended up listening to the game. Other than that, we had a great stay."

"The Chestnut Cove Cottage is in a fabulous location with a gorgeous view of the lake. The cove is beautiful and peaceful. The dock allows for jumping into swimmable water. There is a small sandy spit to walk into the water, very suitable for the young and fit middle aged.The house is spacious with a large sitting room with a wide screen TV. "The cottage on Mendums Pond is a delightful, wonderfully furnished extended A-frame situated on a quiet road, overlooking a beautiful pond and natural view. Very quiet and peaceful, yet within 5 minutes of sites, shops, and conveniences. Everything you need is within the home, including AC and TV. The owner kept in touch and was very helpful with questions. The place was very clean and neat, and there were games and puzzles available. We loved our time here and will return in the future. "
