"The hotel looked good size. Check in was easy. Front of hotel looked clean and inviting. Was given key and electric card. Found my room ok. On 2nd floor. Room was bright and well decorated in fresh white and grey. Bathroom had shower over bath. Nice tiles all around. Plenty clean white towels left me. Large TV. Tea maker . I couldn't fault the room. Looked fine. 3 locks on door. So as single woman felt safe. Lift was out of order. Swimming pool was out of use. Had a large pub next door. But...

"The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were all fabulous, from check in to restaurant and bar. The lady waiting on breakfast was especially great. The challenges were that the room was rather hot, and given the location on the main road, opening the window meant it was noisy. Noise was the main issue - from doors opening, floors creaking and especially from the person in the next room who had their tv on extremely loud until past 2am. "

Breakfast has a great selection of choices from full English buffet to cereals, fruits and pastries. My second time staying here and will definitely be returning when needing to stay in the area!"

"We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. "5 Star luxury from start to finish. Beautiful location and parking was so easy. The property itself must of just had a refurbishment as the room was fantastic. Fellow guests were welcoming especially when chatting at the front of the building. Local people actually visit the front of the hotel and chat to guests. Didn’t make it to the pool however the bath in the room was the size of a swimming pool."

"This hotel was a disappointment. The entrance is unkept. The room was very hot and the AC was not on. I turned it on and it was barely working. The room and bed gave the appearance as if we were in jail. The hallway carpet had a musty oder. We refused to stay there and didn’t not get a refund because we checked in before seeing the room. We didn’t use the room at all; just went to check it out and straight back to lobby."
