"I wanted a quiet spot to reconnect with self and nature, and this place not disappoint. The scenery and river view were fantastic for meditation and day dreaming. The cabin was cozy and clean. The stair case up to the bed was a really tight squeeze, so I left most of my belongings downstairs. Bring wood to make a fire. I was fortunate enough somone left a few pieces behind. I look forward to returning again!"

"Both my husband and I are actors and we were filming all week in Carnation and the surrounding area. Kate and Isaac's VRBO was the PERFECT spot for us. SPA VIBES throughout! From the little waterfall mediations in each room, the spa robes and soaking tub. HOT TUB outside and the Primary suite bed is soooooo comfortable. And I am VERY picky! Like we have had to leave places in the past because the bed was so awful. But this bed also came with SEVERAL choices of pillows. Pick what works for you....

"I came for a respit by the river in the mountains. That's exactly what I found. The cabin has been well loved over the years and has a comfy, worn coziness. The interior woodwork is warm and woodsy. The view from the windows is nothing short of spectacular. No hottub or oven as of 4/2024, so plan accordingly. "

"Great place for anyone who likes to do a little exploring. Plenty of bird watching..if you can lay low for a bit plus she has a nice local book to help identify. Pam is there for any questions. Alpacas are full of personality!Lots of surprises if you take the time to appreciate the property and don’t mind getting your shoes dusty. My granbabes, ages 5 thru 10 had a ball. Pam is the best. "

"We had a great time in there. We enjoyed the view and it was so beautiful. There are plenty of hikes around the area if you love hiking. The kitchen supplies needed some upgrades but other than that we loved everything."

"Lovely home. Several bathrooms. Originally we were going to have about 5 or 6 guests but they backed out so I instead made it a trip for my wife and I and it was such a a nice experience. Upstairs has a laundry chute to pass the dirty clothes to the laundry room. Double sink bathroom was great for us both to get ready for the day and when we came back from a day of adventure. Multiple bathrooms. Shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower was a nice touch."

"We had a fantastic experience during our stay at Rooftop Aerie. The house is beautiful with all amenities: well stocked kitchen, laundry, toiletries, bathrobes, comfortable king size beds. Every room has stunning views, not to mention the rooftop with views of Cascades including Mt Baker! We enjoyed reading on the covered patio with humminbirds fluttering nearby, eagles and owls were also spotted. This was the serene experience we needed. John and Susan and their sweet dog Sparrow were...

"Patrica and her husband were very gracious and provided timely communication throughout our stay. The property was scenic and well maintained. We received guidance and maps from the host for our interested activities. Wish we could bring our grandkids next time. Highly recommend this property. "

"The house and surrounding are exactly as pictured. It did not disappoint!! The view is spectacular! The property was very private and peaceful. The house was clean and very well equipped. The beds were so comfy and the furniture was also comfortable and in great condition. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much! I would highly recommend staying here!"

"We stayed for our 6th year wedding anniversary. Quaint and cozy space, it was a delight to just unwind Highly recommend leaving the windows open as the constant roar of the river is so calming. Great cooking space, as it was open and made the place feel more spacious. Hot tub is grand."

"Joe and I were winding up the final two days of our house remodel while staying at the Castle! Charles was very attentive in communicating with us regarding our stay. The area we stayed in was clean and neat. Although we did not use all of the amenities, there are beautiful new appliances, including a nice range, microwave, convection-toaster oven and a large refrigerator. There is also a very large screen with speakers which we did not use. We slept well in comfortable beds and quiet. Joe and I...

"Great getaway, two kids and two adults. Cozy cabin in the woods! It is very close to another cabin, which luckily for us was unoccupied, but does detract a bit from the isolation we were seeking- and may have been a bummer if there were folks so nearby- but the woods were wet and lush and bursting w spring and the creek ran high and loud! We loved it,and was just what we needed! "

"We competed in a dog event in Monroe and needed a larger space than a hotel provides. We messaged with the owner before booking and were allowed to bring our 3 well behaved show dogs. It’s a quiet property and everything is as described. The home is extremely clean and has everything we needed. While the yard is fenced it’s short in a couple areas and our larger dogs need more of a fence to contain them. With the road nearby we just walked them and there was plenty of space to walk. ...
