"The apartment truly does sit in the heart of Christiansted - a perfect location for popping out to a local dinner, browsing local shops, heading out for an excursion, or ducking downstairs to the juice bar. "We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!"

"This home is set in a location with absolute privacy and beautiful unobstructed views off the huge covered patio while still being 5 minutes from a grocery store and 10 minutes from downtown Christiansted. The house has been well maintained and was very clean with new jalousie windows storm doors and screen doors. Furniture and beds also seem to be updated and well kept. The pool was also a very nice amenity set away from the home to take advantage of views and trade winds. "
