"Every one of the 6 mornings we woke here we absolutely reveled in the stunning waves that greeted us. You are literally on the sand! The owner was very kind and helpful, and they'd just weathered a massive storm just before our arrival, so we have to cut them some slack on the cleanliness part. This place is walking distance to pipeline, and we got to see a couple days of the WSL contest. Super cool! Very authentic local living."

The house is right across the beach and you can see the water from there. It was so ckean and she leaves extra snacks and coffee from Hawaii there for you and makes you feel right at home. "We felt like we were staying in a National Park! The mountains surrounding the property are absolutely stunning. It was a very quiet and safe location for my family. There were even toys that the owner provided for our small children. The owner also let us use bikes and surfboards with no extra charge. The beach is just a short walk away. We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. We now know why they call it sunset beach. This area has the true feeling of Aloha. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Punahele Hale. The beds, linens, pillows were high quality (very important) and overall decor very pleasant. The Murphy bed was a brilliant idea for providing a second sleeping space. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen was very well stocked with everything one would need. A starter pack of coffee would have been a nice addition since we came straight from the airport and arrived too late to venture out to the market. By far having access to the Ritz was a huge...
