Owner Direct Vacation Rentals in North Myrtle Beach welcomes you to your home away from home! ODVR SC is a local, family owned and operated rental agency - Smiling Faces and Beautiful Places - We want to welcome you to your best vacation rental!

Cape Myrtle has a large beautiful yard, professionally landscaped with grand palms, a high private fence, outdoor seating, dining area, large pool w/ lounge chairs and 2 grills (charcoal & propane). There are front and rear decks and a large paved area around the pool for sunbathing. The pool is 10,000 gallons and ranges from 3ft-5ft in depth. SORRY POOL CANNOT BE HEATED.

Plenty of parking and motorcycles/trailers are allowed. Parking capacity varies based on size of vehicles or additional trailers, but generally, 6-8 cars would fit along the driveway/grass side of the house. It's just 3-4 blocks to the beach, from the sidewalk directly out of the front door, but also a great option to rent a local golf-cart and enjoy cruising the kids or grandparents to the dunes, or around the neighborhood to the local park.

This 5000 square foot home can be used by 2 or more families, as it has duplicate features on each floor w/ an interior stairway joining the two floors. 4 BR/2 BA Upstairs, 4 BR/2 BA Downstairs (Bedroom Layout -- Downstairs: 1 King shares bath with 2 Doubles -- 2 Doubles shares bath with 1 Queen -- Upstairs: 2 Doubles share a bath with 2 Doubles -- 2 Doubles share a bath with 1 Queen (13 beds total). Bed and bath linens are included with your reservation, beds will be freshly made upon arrival, kitchen and bathrooms will be supplied with a small "starter kit" of paper products and hotel size soaps. Just enough supplies to give you a break from dashing to the local store after your first long day of traveling.

The interior offers 2 fully-equipped kitchens, making meals a great family experience. Each level provides an open space of living / dining / family gathering areas, with eat-in kitchens (dining tables and counter-top bar seating for all), full size appliances, 2 laundry rooms w/ washer/dryer, WiFi and cable. Just steps out the front door and down the sidewalk, the beach is an easy 3-4 block walk to a nice public access, with showers, parking, bathrooms, wash stations, and handicap ramp access. Cape Myrtle is a wonderful private oasis with everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable and memorable stay.

Great beach house for large families.

This house was very clean and well kept. Had plenty of seating inside and out by the pool. Had access to pool toys and other things. It also had plenty of pots and pans which was such a relief.

Not what I expected

Check in was delayed due to previous renters trashing the place. Lights in pool and yard didn’t work. Gas grill only worked on one side. Beautiful home and location. Need to bring your own cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels etc

Cape House

The house was in a decent location, but the floors and a good portion of the house was pretty dirty. Some of the ceiling fans didn’t work and the couch had so many springs you couldn’t sit anywhere without being uncomfortable. The toilet seats were pretty beaten up. Pretty disappointed overall.

Perfect for a Golf Group

Golf group of 8 was perfect because everyone had their own room, but could handle more if you wanted to double up. Big gathering area and pool was an extra bonus.

Thanksgiving at Cape Myrtle House

Our experience at Cape Myrtle house was fantastic. Tracy, the property manager was wonderful even before we arrived. We did have a few issues that we addressed with her and all things that were brought to her attention were taken care of in the same day. I would highly recommend, this rental to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Great for a golf group

Our party of 8 enjoyed staying at the Cape House. Plenty of room and walking (or riding - they have 2 bikes you can use) distance from the beach. A couple of suggestions for the off season maintenance updates: a new downstairs dish washer add a garbage disposal to the downstairs kitchen sink add an ice maker to the downstairs freezer Thanks for a pleasant stay

The pool area saved the week…..and some stars!!

The outside area was excellent. Inside was another story. First, the place has a BAD roach problem. Some of the appliances didn’t work. We had to get the stove repaired but the dryer never got fixed. All appliances need to be updated! Lastly, for as much as I paid for the place, I could not believe that I had to take my own trash (a weeks worth!) to a local dumpster myself. Why would that not be part of the cleanup process? We put it in the large can outside, you take the can to the dumpster?? We had a great time but only because the outside area was perfect. I would definitely stay there again next year if they address the above issues. Roaches, out of date/broken appliances and self serve trash disposal is not what I envisioned for the price I paid.

Listing was accurate. My family enjoyed the stay, walking distance to the beach, loved the pool

I would rent again. I have suggested they change their cleaning company...linens needs to be replaced and bedding cleaned. Bars stools in kitchen on 1st floor needed recovering, and there were lots of dust throughout the bedrooms

75th bday!

The neighborhood was perfect! It was walking distance to the beach and any store you could possibly need was right around the corner. The house was as described. The only downfalls were having to go thru a bedroom to get to any bathroom there was no main bathroom, the cleaning crew did a rush job and left a ring around the tub and a dirty mildew curtain liner that I had to remove in order to shower and the line to the pool broke(as they do) but we had to fix it ourselves as not to lose a day. The owner however did send a tech the very next morning. Overall our stay was great! My Moms 75th bday was a success I would highly recommend Cape Myrtle house!
