"Just what we expected when we arrived. Location was perfect to be close enough to things for convenience but far enough away for privacy and quiet. It is an adorable area in the evening with lights and fire pit. Will definitely stay again!"

"Property was comfortable and had everything that was needed to make our stay enjoyable. Would recommend bringing your own small compact freezer if fishing for more than three days so that you can process your catch and get it home in great condition. Parking with a boat trailer was a bit tricky, but manageable. Would recommend that they put a circle drive in that goes behind the lodge, in order to help with the boat trailer parking. Accommodations over all were quite nice."

"Cabin was lovely! Everything you’d need, including drinking/drinkable water! We bottomed out in our Corolla, An SUV is advisable and a truck would have no problem. Cell service wasn’t great but internet worked great for both laptop and TV. Would revisit when weather not so chilly, didn’t get to take advantage of being right on the water but the view…. sunrises were gorgeous, fog off the water was simply breathtaking, can’t put a price on that! "

"What a peaceful welcoming place to call home base while we explored the area. Galena has fun with their piece of Kansas Rte 66 history, and the part they played in the movie "Cars".Our hosts provided information on things to do and a clean, comfortable experience. We'd like to visit again to see what's next for the Mother Road in Galena! Would definitely hope to stay here again!"

"This property was fantastic for a large group. Having two kitchens was a huge plus. The beds were comfortable. The place is decorated great. The view of the lake is gorgeous. The steps down to the lake are very steep. Many in our group wouldn’t have been able to use them if they had wanted. Something to keep in mind if being able to get in the water is important. We would definitely stay again. Lovely place! "
