"Wonderful accommodations right in the heart of Albany! I was in town for a work trip, and this place exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how spotless, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared everything was. "The Hidden Gem — Honest ReviewThe Hidden Gem has potential, and our host was very nice and accommodating. The location worked well for what we needed, but unfortunately, the property itself was disappointing. The camping trailer is very run down and needs significant updating. Some lights were broken or didn’t work, duct tape was holding part of the bedroom ceiling in place, the bedroom carpet looked dirty, and there was mold on the shower curtain. The electrical outlets were also concerning, as...

"Great place with a great location. Parking was smooth with easy street parking that the host registered us for so we didn’t have to move our car. Bed was super comfortable and it was great having the front room that overlooked the park. Walking access to a number of great bars and restaurants. Also loved walking through the park in the morning. It is a 3rd floor walk-up, so be prepared for that. It worked fine for us, but may be difficult if you have mobility concerns. "The lake house was not only big enough for entertaining our extended family of 10, but fully equipped for fun down on the lake. We loved the kayaks, the stand up paddle boards, and the kids and teens loved swimming off of and playing on the foam floating mat. We lounged around the fire pit and roasted marshmallows for s’mores one night. And the icing on the cake was that our three senior dogs could be with us, so we brought along a couch cover and kept the lawn clean so that the owner might...
