"We use the beach cottage to access the provincial park as well as the long point birding observatory. The park is about a five minute walk straight down Erie street while the LPBO banding station is located just around the corner along big cut Road.Beach access is also about five minutes down Erie street and down a short cul-de-sac.The cottage was very well cared for and rustic, which is our preference. "Very clean, area was private, peaceful and quiet.Had a good time one the water with boat easy launching and close. Very calm and relaxing. In the lake house all was available for cooking, bbqing, and a fire and additional items, just in case we forgot. Very thoughtful. Goodtime. Best stay we have enjoyed."

"This property is clean and quiet but not beachside. You can walk to beach in 15 to 20 minutes on a sidewalk, or drive 5 minutes. Home is located in nice neighborhood with a great dog park right across the road. Port Dover is a lovely and friendly town. Host is accessible for questions. "

"Excellent hospitality and thoughtfulness behind the amenities. The outdoor shower is great and perfectly heated. Highly recommend especially during the cooler days. The bunkie can get hot (our first night stay was 31 Celsius outside) but a portable fan we packed made it bearable. I would recommend packing some camping fans just to keep the airflow going to make things more comfortable if you are planning on staying when it is hot.
