Room was immaculate, quiet and comfy bed. Parking easy and off the road, so felt secure. "This is the fourth time at the Prince Rupert and it doesn't disappoint. A proper traditional hotel with lovely staff and offering a glass of sherry on arrival. Very good traditional breakfast, but a variety of healthy options available too. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, with an off-site parking area that can be completely full when you get there, so you need to find an alternative yourself. "Lots of healthy or hearty options for breakfast .staff wonderful. Gardens were lovely if only it was summer. Paying car park next to hotel. Plenty of dining places. Rooms were stylish. Definitely a womans touch and thought had gone into the rooms"

"We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. "
