"Very warm welcome, I was travelling with my dog, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms exceptionally clean, towels super soft. Lovely size room. Very comfortable . Went into Bar for coffee, very friendly also 7 of us had Sunday lunch, everything was very nice. Will definitely stay again."

"A very warm welcome on arrival, with a clear explanation given of things that we needed to know. Help offered with bags and an escort given to our more than pleasant booked room (Cathedral View). Facilities in room all that one might require, and with a comfortable bed. Very tasty breakfast options available from 07:30 am with a range of beverages. An easy check out procedure on departure. One thing that has to be said is that my partner and I found the room somewhat over warm through the night,...

"Handy location to Durham and countryside. Clean cozy and friendly clear communications. Nice touch to have some supplies available on arrival. Felt unclear where to park as other locals parked up but I’m sure it would have been clear should I have asked."

The staff on reception from the minute you arrive to the staff in the restaurant at breakfast were all very friendly and efficient. The room was large and very comfortable, with lovely toiletries and coffee/tea making facilities. Loved the security to accessing the bedrooms too. "
