Cape Cod Meets Up North in this Gull Lake Retreat

This airy cottage has a lovely light feel and is reminiscent of a seaside retreat on Cape Cod. There are two distinct living areas in this two-for-one getaway: the main house, and the guesthouse - the two are connected by a screened-in breezeway.

Built in 2011, the main house features two beautifully furnished bedrooms, two full baths, and a stunning state-of-the-art kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a large island perfect for family gatherings while food is being prepared. The high-ceiling main room has a loft, fireplace and dry bar, not to mention a panoramic view of the lake.

The guesthouse has one bedroom, one bath, and a living room with wet bar and refrigerator, perfect for those wanting separation from the activities of the main house. There is also a queen-sized sofa bed to accommodate additional guests.

Situated above the water, the views are spectacular from almost any vantage point. Outside you’ll find an outdoor shower, a patio with a fire pit, and a private dock which is literally a stone's throw away from one of the best fishing spots on Gull Lake. Lovely landscaped grounds complete this pristine setting.

Additional amenities include air-conditioning, high-speed wireless internet access, cable TV, surround sound throughout, ceiling fans in each bedroom, hurricane shutters in the breezeway, laundry, and a grill. This vacation home accommodates eight guests comfortably.

great summer get away

The property is exactly as advertised. The home is very nicely decorated and well equipped. Located in a central spot on Gull Lake with great fishing close by. We would definitely return.

Above the Standard Rental

The house was perfect for our needs, with 2 groups conveniently able to head to separate houses at the end of the evening with a beautiful screened off porch in the middle to hang out in when not on the lake. The furnishings, bedding and linens, cookware, laundry and house generally is a step or 3 above standard rentals. Quiet and absolutely peaceful getaway. The location on Rocky Point is ideal, just 10 minutes to the rental marina for the boat and 5 minutes to the Rock Pile, where the kids were able to pull up decent blue gill every couple of minutes. It's also equidistant between Ernies and Zorbas, one of the best places location wise we've stayed on the lake. The hosts were great as well.

Gull Lake vacation

Gorgeous house and location! Owners were lovely to deal with and great communication. House had every thing you need for cooking and enjoying the lake. We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back.

Perfect place on the lake

We loved our stay at Cabin #10! You can’t beat the location on the point. The views from every space make you feel like you are on top of the water. It’s a beautifully designed home with coastal decor just like places we’ve stayed in Cape Cod! The breezeway was our favorite place to hang out; a screened in area is a must up north and this one is really great! We had everything we needed for grilling and cooking, but also loved the convenient access to some of favorite restaurants on Gull. Added plus was Randi was wonderful to work with! We’ve rented many homes on Gull and highly recommend this one.

A Return to Gull

In search of a much needed getaway, we were fortunate enough to find Randi's listing on Gull Lake. What a blessing! Randi was extremely helpful provided guidance to make our stay even better (e.g., suggesting a boat rental). We were able to reunite with old friends and make some new ones as well. Beautiful Lake Home

We had a wonderful time staying at this lake front property. The views of the lake from the house are amazing. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, star gazing from the fire pit, and gathering in the screened-in porch during the day and night. Comfy bedrooms, great kitchen with everything you need, and the house is beautifully decorated. We did not want to leave!

Cape Cod on Gull Lake

We love this beautiful cabin/home on Gull Lake. The setting and location are perfect. The home is absolutely lovely. It is well-stocked, clean, bright, cheery, and has all the amenities that you could wish for. I especially love the whimsy and decorative touches of Minnesota life and Scandinavian culture around the home. Randi, the owner, is wonderful. Our family loves coming here- we have come for two summers now. We hope to come for many more!

Beautiful home and location

Beautifully designed home with everything you need to enjoy the lake and views day or night. Sunrise is spectacular and Bald Eagles frequent the surrounding trees. We were not ready to go home at the end of our week long stay.

Absolutely spectacular!

The property was even nicer than the beautiful pictures online! This newer cabin was built with exceptional craftmenship and interior design. We loved the screened in breezeway between the cabin and the guesthouse. The view of Gull Lake was spectacular. The kitchen and family area was a great hangout for our family. The new cabin had many modern immenities including a wine fridge, extra ice maker, and extra beverage fridge. All the bathrooms were spacious and nicely tiled. The master suite had a spacious walk through closet cabinet to the master bathroom. The guest suite had it's own living area, bathroom, and seperate bedroom.Randi was very nice and responsive!

Perfect Lake Vacation

This is the perfect home for a treasured lake vacation on Gull Lake. The home is as pictured and described....exceptional use of space and timeless design with comfortable furnishings and everything you would every need. We especially loved using the breezeway for coffee, drinks and listening to rain showers. We rented a boat and stand up paddle board which we kept at the convenient dock. From there we enjoyed exploring the waters, eating out at restaurants and for water skiing and tubing; along with the sunset cruise. It was so nice to meet Randi and her family and truly hope we can visit this special place again.

Perfect Lake Home Experience

Impeccably finished. Sparking clean. Beautiful views. We were looking for a special place to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday and loved this home. Home was a wonderful flow and we used every room and space Inside and out. Nightly fires at the pit with smores. Daily boat adventures water skiing, cocktail cruises and boating to all the restaurants on the water fo dinner. Kitchen is stocked with every thing we needed. (Including a lettuce spinner...that is the true test). Couldn't recommend this place any more.

Cabin 10 is a beautiful home, great views and every amenity. Wonderful place for family and friends

We couldn't have asked for more. The home is lovely, everything you could want or need for a great time with family and friends. So well located and well appointed. It was a wonderful week. We did lots of cooking and entertaining. Loved the fire pit, the breezeway, and just the overall comfort and beauty of the home. The pictures on the site don't even do it justice. Thanks for sharing it with us, Randi. We will be back!!

Exceeded all expectations!

This cabin was PERFECT for our family to enjoy a relaxing vacation. My husband and three daughters stayed in the main cottage while my husband's parents occupied the guest house. The two spaces are connected by a screened-in breezeway which we used frequently each day...coffee in the mornings and nightcaps in the evenings. All bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed with ample storage for clothing and toiletries. The kitchen is fabulous and had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. The fire pit is run by gas which was great for a quick s'more before the mosquitos came out! Gull lake offers clear, clean water, so we enjoyed many days fishing and swimming. Our daughters fished off the dock and would often have a fish within a minute of casting. Our girls also loved the large loft space above the master bedroom. They regretted not bringing their sleeping bags as this would have been the perfect spot for a sisters slumber party! The only hiccup we encountered was that the hot water heater was not running properly. I notified Randi, and she promptly sent someone over to take a look at it. The caretaker was friendly and fixed the problem right away. The only reason I even mention this is that I was very impressed with how quickly our problem was resolved. Randi is wonderful to work with. We are grateful that she and her family have opened their home for others to make memories in. We had the most wonderful vacation and hope to visit Cabin 10 again in the future! Thank you, Randi and family!

Amazing stay...

We just loved Cabin 10! I've stayed at many Homeaway homes and this was by far the most well stocked home; also very clean and incredibly nice neighbors! The area is so quiet, the fire area by the lake is great for an evening wind down and the bed in the master room was very comfortable! I just can't say enough good things about Cabin 10. We will be back! Thank you to the owners for sharing a piece of your life and home with us:)

Wonderful relaxing week on Gull Lake

This home is beautiful-they really thought of everything. We spent a lot of time in the breezeway just enjoying the view of the lake and the home. Perfect vacation. So glad the owners open their place to renters to share their wonderful space and let us create some great memories with our two adult children- it's one we will never forget and will be back!

Beautiful and relaxing stay on Gull Lake

We absolutely loved Cabin 10! The home is casually elegant and extremely comfortable and we loved the layout. The setting is just gorgeous; the photos really don't do it justice! We also enjoyed working with the owners, Randi and Karlo, who are super helpful and responsive- they thought of everything when they remodeled their lake home.
