A superb Provencal villa in very good condition and decorated to a high very standard.
It is South facing with a panoramic view down to Cap d'Antibes with mountains behind it.
The property consists of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room with dining area, large terraces with outdoor dining and forno with numerous areas sit around the spacious pool.
The entire garden, driveway, gates and perimeter security fences were re-designed in 2012 by 'Chelsea Flower Show 2016' Gold Medal Winner James Basson of Scape Design (with the creation of the show garden 'L'Occitane Garden' sponsored by L'Occitane UK).
A great Villa for for families or groups of friends situated on the outskirts of the town of Vence.

Mooie ruime villa

Mooie ruime villa in de bergen. Kronkelwegeltjes brengen je naar de kust (of naar het station van Cagnes-sur-Mer). La Chapelle du Rosaire van Matisse is nabij. Ideaal voor een rustvakantie, of voor uitstapjes naar Nice, Monaco, etc.

Poor experience & lack of care from owner..

MISLEADING LOCATION: '7-9 minute walk to centre' Reality 7-9 minute DRIVE, 2.5km (40 min walk) No acknowledgement NO HANDOVER: Given keys by ‘neighbours daughter’ who spoke little English & couldn’t show details of villa. No inspection/opportunity to spot issues. ISSUES: - Dirty kitchen & utensils - Some appliances in poor condition - Towel shortage. 3 days to resolve - 5 loungers - villa sleeps 10 - Outside table for 6 - sleeps 10 - Cleaning robot, left in pool, told we could get in the pool with it. Panic message from the ‘neighbour’ same evening telling us not to - No pool net. After bad storm, pool full of debris. Informed it wouldn’t be cleaned (robot's job). We ended at local store to buy own so we could use the pool again. Glass topped garden table shattered mid-holiday, when the edge was caught innocuously by a glass bottle. I raised immediately: - To acknowledge responsibility & offering to pay - Glass shattered & lodged in the foot of 10 year old son causing bleeding & distress. I also had cuts on my arm In retrospect, I should have raised concern about quality of table & ability to ‘explode’ as it did & the liability for the injury to my son & self. We cleared the glass away and used table cloth as advised NO DEPARTURE CHECK done by ‘neighbour’ with key exchange. 24 hours later I received an invoice from VRBO >£700 for table and drains issue (?!?). At the same time owner raised other issues (no handover checks) but 'wouldn't charge'. Unbelievable

Fantastic property!

Myself and 4 friends stayed in this property to attend some of the rugby World Cup games and play some golf. Overall we had a great stay, the contact with Dylan beforehand was always timely and helpful and the checkin process with Laurence was smooth and helpful. The property itself was great with a beautiful location and all the facilities we needed. The pool and outside bbq area were particular highlights. While it is a bit outside Nice, we were easily able to get taxis and Ubers into there, and they were quite reasonable. Overall I would highly recommend this property and thanks again to Dylan for being a great host

Klasse Blick nach Vence, die Berge und nach Antibes. Das Haus, der Pool, der Grill, die Terrasse und die Betten waren klasse. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Vielen Dank an Laurence, die vor Ort war und Dylan dem Vermieter.

Awful experience

As has been admitted the property is tired. During our stay we had issues with the hot water system, damp in some of the rooms, some equipment not fit for purpose, equipment failures and problems with what appeared to be a pool liner that was actually moving. Sadly none of these were, in our view, dealt with properly by the owner or his agent.

Tolles Haus, leider etwas abseits. Ganz toller Blick und sehr erholsam. Schade dass die Vermittlungsagentur gar kein Englisch spricht. Bis auf Streichhölzer/Feuerzeug war alles vorhanden.

Generous Outside Living Space

A good sized villa, the layout is 2 double bedrooms downstairs with a shared bathroom. Upstairs a well appointed Master bedroom (aircon), child's room (aircon) & further bedroom. All share a shower room. It would suit a family where you have young & teenage children. The property is 1.5k away from the village and not 0.3, we walked it in about 20 mins. There is a free daytime bus that runs near the property, so perfectly possible without a car. We keep coming back to Vence as it is a lovely French town & not too touristy. It really suits our adult children (Nice clubs nearby) and the villa is a good relaxing space with functioning wifi. Dylan responded to faults very quickly & warned us that the Villa wasn't up to decorating standard before we arrived.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis dans cette maison ! Malgré quelques dysfonctionnements en début de séjour, Dylan s’est montré très réactif pour réparer/remplacer ces derniers.

Beautiful Vence

Lovely property, family loved it, very child friendly. Good set up with TV/WiFi plenty of kids toys and air con/fans. Vence is a 5 min Drive away with everything you need. Take DEET and anti-mosquito stuff along with bite cream. House has plenty of plug ins but outside at night you get bitten. Nothing to do with the property just France. No worse than Scotland’s summer midge.

9 people (4 adults, 5 kids) staying for a week - loved it!

We stayed with our friends for a week in June and really enjoyed it. Lovely view, good location (though a car is required to get anywhere) and good facilities. Everything needed for small kids 1-5 year olds (including high chair, cot, toys) was available. The pool was really nice as well as having a garden and peaceful environment. Can definitely recommend!

Very clean and neat Villa in a fantastic location. Very quiet location. Fantastic customer service from the Villas owner Dylan. Would highly recommend.
