"Te Tiro was a lovely place to get away and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been. Our host was welcoming and accommodating and the cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. He showed us areas to walk around the farm and there is a pathway to an area to see glow worms a short walk from the cabin. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a bbq to use. To maximize your relaxation time I would note that the nearest grocery is ~30 min drive away, so best to come stocked. "

"We Absolutely loved every bit of the location, the quietness, and the very awesome hosts, stew and lucia. Stewart came to greet us , on our 2nd night he even came and joined us around his pitfire , best stay away we have ever had, you felt very welcome , and the sleeping , wow , never slepted so blissfully. "The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! The owner was in contact quickly with lots of useful information. The property is in a neighborhood that is fairly remote. We stopped in Kawhia...

"We had a wedding nearby.We were allowed in slightly earlier which was very helpful as we needed to be at the wedding at 2:30 and had to get changed before hand.The house was very well equipped and dealing with the owner has been very easy"
