    Step into the inviting living room, where a decorative non-working fireplace adds a touch of charm. Above it, you'll find a 42-inch flat-screen TV, perfect for cozy movie nights. The bedroom is equipped with TV and built-in DVD player, TVs come with Roku live TV channels, and the high-speed internet and Wi-Fi are ready for all your favorite streaming services. For music lovers, there's a Bose iPod docking station for high-quality listening.
    The large, fenced-in backyard is ideal for both family gatherings and pets to play. Enjoy a night out on the town while leaving your pets in a comfortable, home away from home environment. Located just two blocks from the water and a waterfront dog park, this cottage offers easy access to a boat ramp and is a short walk to Newport's fabulous restaurants and shops. Despite being in a quiet neighborhood, you're just minutes away from all the fun and excitement Newport has to offer. The place was spotless and charming! Very peaceful and lovely neighborhood but walkable to town. The best of both worlds. Hosts were very receptive and clear w all instructions and easy to contact at all times. Highly recommend this home for a stay in Newport!

Cozy cottage with a fantastic location! Walking distance to town, and just a few minutes' drive to the Navy Base where we needed to be over the weekend. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our two pups to explore and spend time outside safely.

We had a lovely time staying here! The back yard is large and well fenced and was perfect for our dogs. The front yard is also fenced, which is an added bonus as we didn't have to worry about our dogs running out the front door. The property was clean and welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. We are already talking about returning here in the summer. The host was also great about communication. 5 stars all around!

Wonderful home

Kathy was a super helpful and communicative host. The house is great-charming, authentic to the town, clean, great location, cute neighborhood, really great yard for dog. We had a fantastic stay.

We had a great stay at Point Cottage. It was a perfect haven for my husband and me and our dogs. It’s in an adorable and quiet neighborhood less than a mile walk north of downtown, so quite convenient. The large fenced in backyard was clutch. The house is cozy and true to New England style. Our host Kathy was super accommodating and responsive. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Wonderful Dog Friendly Stay

We had an amazing time visiting Newport and this home was a perfect place for us to stay with our two pups. The fenced in back and front yards kept our dogs safe and happy, the house was clean and well kept, the hosts were communicative about all we needed to know, and the location was quiet and peaceful while still being a convenient walking distance to the fun hustle and bustle of Bowens Wharf/Thames/Etc. We would easily recommend to anyone!

We loved the cottage and neighborhood. We brought our little dog so the fenced in yard was perfect. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our end of summer getaway in beautiful Newport!

First time in Newport

The location was perfect for strolls into town for shopping and dining. Our French bulldogs enjoyed running in the fenced yard as we sipped coffee on the patio.

Fun little cottage & dog friendly!

This little cottage was lovely. Great location , lovely yard for our pup & a great neighborhood! It had everything we needed (minus washer/dryer)! Overall, a great place to stay on your trip to Newport!

Quick stay, perfect location

Brought my pup for a 3 night stay and it was great. Fenced in yard, prime location to downtown 👍. Only had to drive to beach which was a quick drive.

Great Location!!!

Quaint cottage just a short walk to downtown Newport, but far enough away to be able to enjoy some peace and quiet. Fenced yard is a huge plus for those traveling with dogs.

Location, location, location is the key to this property! If you have a pet and want to enjoy your stay with being close to EVERYTHING then this is the place. My Lily felt extremely comfortable and we were literally 6 mins from everything! Neighbors even welcomed us to the area. Cottage is quaint and comfortable. Water pressure was amazing! Nice sized fenced in yard which our pet fully enjoyed- she made friends with the next door doggie. Many historic homes all within walking distance.. one block away from the water and a dog park. We will definitely return.
