"The property is a lovely quiet countryside setting, A beautiful cabin with lovely attention to detail. Very comfortable stay, with a welcoming and helpful owner. We stayed here over New Year and it was perfect."

"The location of Gibbs Hill Farm is amazing. It is located on a large farm and is very quiet and very beautiful and catered to our needs. The property is clean and comfortable. Valerie, the owner, is very friendly and we enjoyed our chats with her. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the area. "

"We enjoyed a very relaxing break in a cottage that exceeded our expectations, complete with beautiful gardens. A great base to tour from, it is exceptionally clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and offered wonderful views of the area. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended."

"Lovely cozy home, nestled in some beautiful countryside. The home had everything you needed. Ideal location for a quiet getaway or for exploring the north. "

"What a place, accomodation is excellent, plenty of room to be together, but also plenty of room to find some peace and quiet! The party barn is a real bonus, rspecially if the weather is not too good, and there’s a cricket pitch (or football) right in front pf the property…can’t think of a downside…Fantastic Time was had by all"

"We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. "

"This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend."

"Photos certainly do not do this house justice. We were a party of 9 adults and one dog and we had so much space. We particularly loved the huge kitchen table where we spent lots of time chatting, playing games etc. Highly reccommended."

"The pictures do not do this place justice! We had a superb time. The host is so helpful & welcoming. So quiet, view is spectacular, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is perfectly equipped. We will certainly be returning. "

"Property was beautiful but the sofa bed was very hard and uncomfortable for a third adult. Apart from that, everything was wonderful and the view was lovely."

"Beautiful part of Scotland the caravan site However was a little on the shabby side, some of the caravans were in really bad condition which made the site look worse than what it was, the inside of our caravan was not very clean and the fixtures had seen better days."
