"We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Garden Cottage. The owners were so helpful and kindly lent us some fantastic books about the area, along with great local advice. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. The garden is beautiful and the views are just stunning – such a peaceful and special place. "Beautiful part of Scotland the caravan site However was a little on the shabby side, some of the caravans were in really bad condition which made the site look worse than what it was, the inside of our caravan was not very clean and the fixtures had seen better days."
