"Slightly dated but very clean. Ice machine in the corridor was really welcome. Food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. The gym was well stocked but would have like to access any hour as with going out for the day means it's shut when you get back"

"More BnB than hotel. Clean and comfortable. No staff on site key left for access. Work well for me. Good nights sleep"

The County Hotel, Newcastle
"The County Hotel is a beautiful old hotel that has been very well maintained. Breakfast is plentiful and the staff were great. Only improvement would be a better selection of toiletry items such as some lotion, shampoo and conditioner etc."

"We received a very warm welcome upon arrival from the reception staff. They were very helpful and friendly Our room was very nice and clean. The shower over the bath could do with upgrading The grounds are beautiful and although it was very busy with two weddings and and abundance of golfers there ..."

Copthorne Hotel Newcastle
"Overall a very good hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. The location was good, shopping, attractions and restaurants were all within walking distance. The room was very large. The decor was a little tired and could use updating. One negative is that the room was extremely hot. ..."
