"We had an amazing stay at Hidden Haven with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog! You can’t beat the location: we got to wake up to Lake Superior views, hear the waves crashing overnight, and could walk a few minutes up the road and be on the North Country Trail for trail runs and hiking. Everything was super clean and comfy and we had everything we needed to have a great few days. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future!"

"I guess this could pass as a campsite. If you don’t mind being surrounded by trailers and storage vehicles on the side of a busy rural highway. If you are looking for an up north Mi camping experience you are hereby forwarned this is not the most scenic campsite! Not mad, just disappointed.But everyone’s gotta make a buck I guess. We decided to not stay the night and instead made the 6 hour trek home a day early. "

"This cozy little cabin in Grand Marais was clean, comfortable, and made for a great home base while exploring the area. We also appreciated that it allowed our two dogs, which made traveling much easier.We’d definitely stay here again. "My family of 6 had the best time staying here. We did a few day trips around the UP and other days stayed and enjoyed the property. We fished, we swam, we kayaked, we had bonfires and made s'mores, we played pool, we got to see a momma and baby dear several times roaming around the house, and more. It was perfect! And the home owner was very considerate and helpful our entire visit! We loved it and were crushed when we had to leave!"

"Simple and clean, but the idea that this sleeps 4 is really pushing it. There was only 2 of us, so it was ok, but the “couch” is a cubicle type couch that opens in to what can roughly be called a double bed. There were no sheets for it, but the owner did respond right away and brought one flat sheet. He told us fitted sheets don’t fit the couch. It’s a decent place, but we stayed in 3 other places for much less that were much better. This is not worth what they charge a night."

"Property was nice. It was surface level clean. There was pretty severe obvious water damage in both bathrooms with visible mold. As a family that needs to be careful around mold, seeing this was disappointing. It was a comfortable house, dated, but comfortable. Lots of space for a family. Close to main attractions. One thing to note, there are close neighbors, so if you are looking for space/ seclusion, this house does have close neighbors you will hear their dogs/lawn mowers / leaf blowers....
