This home-away-from-home is a brand new, charming attic apartment with modern conveniences in a historic cottage built in 1898. We are located on a quiet residential street three blocks north of Newberg’s old downtown and one block from George Fox University campus. The bright, inviting space provides all your basic needs, including a fully equipped kitchen stocked with generous cooking amenities and complimentary locally roasted coffee.

Step out the door and walk a few blocks to experience Newberg’s distinctive local shops, galleries, tasting rooms, antique stores, and a wide variety of restaurants from nationally recognized fine dining to popular local food carts. During the summer months, enjoy the weekly Farmer’s Market and free concerts at the Cultural Center a minute’s walk down the street from your apartment. Get off your feet and in your car to experience more adventures that Yamhill County has to offer.

Denise earned the Superhost title! Arrived after a long drive to Denise in her beautiful garden asking if I'd like a bottle of wine. I went to the upstairs apartment and was met with a large bowl of fruit, a fridge full of breakfast items and fresh flowers. Prompt to respond to any questions. You can walk into town and parking was easy. Friendly chickens a bonus! Would highly recommend!

This is a perfect apartment! I stayed for 3 nights to move our son into the dorm at GFU and it was during a heat wave of 100 temps. The a/c units and fans were amazing and we were cool and comfortable! The huge bathroom has a wonderful shower and everything you could need. The kitchen is well stocked and the fridge was lovingly loaded with eggs, cheese, cream cheese, OJ, waters, and cream. Also provided was fruit, bagels, and amazing local coffee! What an amazing gift for weary travelers!! We slept like rocks and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. Fresh flowers were also so appreciated. Owner is a delight, so friendly and kind. I hope to always book this beautiful apartment when visiting Newberg!!

Lovely well-appointed in the heart of Newberg, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Host was very prompt and communicative. The bedroom had a dedicated A/C, good closet space and desk. The bathroom was on the larger side, with a separate room/door for the toilet. The modest living room has its own A/C, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, and had a separate small bar area for wine glasses. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is excellent. Plenty of space. Incredibly well equipped. Spotlessly clean. And Denise is a friendly helpful host. And eggs from her chickens for breakfast! Five stars. Definitely recommend for a mini vacation.

Comfortable and convenient base in the Willamette Valley

I went to the area for a specific event and wanted a comfortable spot to stay where I could walk to restaurants, easily drive to vineyards and work over the course of 10 days. This place fit the bill.The host was thoughtful (fridge stocked with breakfast items) and responsive (when the internet went down one day).The place was clean and well maintained. A couple of items could use some attention - the wooden staircase up to the entrance is not in good shape and the AC window units are very loud.All in all, a nice place and I would consider staying there again.

We were instantly at home in this immaculate apartment, and appreciated all the extra touches and treats we found in the kitchen and refrigerator. The location was just perfect for walking to our restaurant or checking out George Fox or the historic city center. Perfect little getaway!

Amazing rental! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenities and cleanliness. Denise was extremely thoughtful in leaving fresh eggs, local coffee beans, bagels and cream cheese, cream, orange juice, snacks, butter, etc. We will be back!

Great Space!

I stayed here in September 2024 for a conference at George Fox University. I was very pleased: a comfortable, large space just a couple of blocks from campus. I’d definitely stay here again, and found myself thinking I’d like to bring my wife back here and visit wineries sometime.

Cozy Stay

Cozy little property. The welcome provisions were lovely and if you don't have time to hit the grocery store before the next morning - you have all the breakfast fixings waiting for you. The flowers were a nice touch. Loved being able to walk to downtown. It was also a great location for winery visits. Denise was very pleasant to work with.

Home Away from Home

My husband and I stayed here while he attended a conference at George Fox University. It was quaint and comfortable and walking distance to the university and downtown. I loved the flowers out front and in the pretty neighborhood. Denise was very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

PERFECT FOR 3 DAYS IN NEWBERG!

Super clean, cozy, comfortable apartment above the garage. WOW, we loved it and our host Denise was very helpful in picking out which wineries to visit and other tips. Quiet, in-town location

Pleasant apartment in a good location in the heart of Newberg. Walking distance to downtown, George Fox University and Friendsview. Homey with nice hospitality from the host: fresh local w to grind and brew, fresh fruit, fresh eggs, etc. Quiet street and nice and dark at night.

Spring Getaway

Great location for tasting rooms and cute local shops. The apartment had everything I needed, comfortable and well equipped. Denise even stocked me with breakfast items! She is thoughtful and kind. My only comment would be that parts of the neighborhood are visually run down but at no time did I ever feel unsafe.

Newberg Apartment

We stayed in the apartment for a month. The location and amenities were perfect for us. We enjoyed for a walk each day and the closeness of the downtown area (just a short walk away.) The apartment was very clean and Denise was available whenever we had a question or issue. When we arrived, the Internet was very, very slow and sometimes it would shut down. This was fixed in the third week of our stay and it was great when we left. The washing machine broke down our last week and needed to be replaced. A new machine was scheduled to be installed the day after we left. All in all, it was a great place for us to stay.
