Awesome!

Great location. Beautiful house! More than sufficient amenities. I was wishing I had packed along my aromatherapy rice bag to pop into the microwave and, lo and behold ... I happened to find one in a cabinet! Leigh has thought of so many conveniences. Best VRBO we have stayed at!

Amazing historic home with all the amenities

Stayed for a weekend with 4 women; wine tasting in Newberg. The hostess was friendly and made the checkin seamless. The beds are extremely comfortable!! Lots of extra pillows and blankets too. The house is in an excellent location across the street from George Fox and walking to restaurants. Living room, office and dining room are all beautiful. We barbecued one night and had all the amenities plus more! The hot-tub was a true bonus. We will visit again!!

Great Home and Great Host!

We were very pleased with University House. The house was immaculate and well-decorated with family treasures. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for trips to wineries or day trips to the coast, Portland, or hiking. Leigh is a very attentive host and I would give her 10 stars if I could!

The consistent 10’s this property has been rated are well-warranted. Superb location, attractive appearance— and inside the real treat with dining, living and den rooms outstanding in character and comfort. A wonderful feeling of a real home with its own character.

Absolutely lovely house in a great location

We cannot say enough nice things about this property. Every possible thing you could want has been thought of and is readily available. Leigh is wonderful and gave a great run down of the house. She said that if we needed anything, to just ask, but we truly never needed to bother her. A great place to relax between wine tastings. Hang out in the hot tub, or relax by a fire in the living room. Just wonderful ambience no matter where you decide to hang out. Should we even end up staying new Newberg again, we would absolutely stay here.

Cozy and Charming Stay

Leigh greeted us at the start of the stay and shared about the place and its charm. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her. The place had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was in a great location. I would stay there again without question!

Amazing stay in Newberg

This home was great. Comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything you could ever need for cooking. The neighborhood was nice and walkable. The owner lived across the street and was available for any questions or issues and gave great suggestions for dining, groceries and wine tasting. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. I would stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Across the street from a collegiate campus that is like an arboretum!

As "young"seniors (!), we're picky about beds, and all 4 of us agreed the beds were great! We also were stuneed at the beauty of George Fox University (across the street) with its magnificent trees, stunning truss bridge over a gorge, and beautiful landscaping throughout. A perfect place for morning and evening walks. Hot tub easy to use, large (easily fit the 4 of us) and all very clean!
