Valentine’s Day Weekend

My wife and I stayed here for one night. We stayed in suite 5. We absolutely loved our stay. So very clean and nice. Every detail was thought of... complimentary maple roll, coffee, tea, popcorn, juice, box of chocolates, loaf of bread and jam provided! We really enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace. We will definitely be back for our next stay in Amish country!

Expedia states it included a full breakfast and it was a continental one. Also, it was unclear which suite had the outdoor whirlpool, so I selected the wrong suite. I recommend updating descriptions of the suites and breakfast. In addition, I would include more tv channels and better movies. Outside of those things, we had an amazing time and suite 1 was beautiful.

Amazing!

This place is amazing. The view is gorgeous. Everything you need and more. Very clean. Fresh baked goods and strawberry jelly was delicious.

This was exactly what I was looking for...a place that felt like home with an exceptional view. It was peaceful to wake up in the morning to the breakfast provided and watch the horses playing. The room was clean. Friendly staff while checking in. It was a warm and cozy stay in a rural environment and I would easily stay again.

Great night!

The suite we stayed in was great. Big jacuzzi, nice kitchen stocked with a few drinks and snacks. The fireplace was warm and cozy. So very quiet location too. Over top rated.

Well Worth It!

Wonderful, homey, cozy place to stay. My friends and I stayed in Suite #3 - it was beautiful. Very roomy, clean, tastefully decorated, lot's of homey touches such as the maple cinnamon rolls, freshly baked bread, homemade strawberry jam, assorted juice, coffee and tea that awaited us when we arrived. The views are fantastic and it is very peaceful both day and night. I would highly recommend Holmes with a View to anyone wanting to stay in Ohio's incredible Holmes County.

Absolutely beautiful! Super clean, peaceful & comfortable. Loved the layout.... with open, well equipped kitchen, dining & livingroom with views of countryside and the privacy of two separate lovely bedroom suites. We enjoyed our morning coffee and maple rolls out on the deck. Everyone was very sweet & helpful. We will definitely keep this place in mind when planning our next getaway!

Both my wife and I were very pleased with the size of the rooms and the condition of the facility. You felt like you were staying in a very nice and roomy apartment with a view. Everything was operational with instructions. We thought it was going to be a little out of the way to drive, but it was just a short jaunt from the shops in Berlin and the little drive distance was pleasant.

Good place to kick bs k and relax

Had enjoyable time. Only draw back is we were on lower level and constantly heard people above us walking all hours of the night and then first thing in the morning. Did take away from the experience. S3cond time we stayed here and this happened. Would only recommend taking room on upper level

Beautiful Setting!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this place surrounded by Amish farms. Once you turn off the main road, you drive a very steep & winding road to the place. The view is stunning & the suites are beautiful. We stayed in #2 for Valentine's Day & were greeted with Amish made bread, jam & a box of Coblentz chocolates. The suite was sparkling clean & comfortable. They provided all the comforts of home. We enjoyed seeing the cows across the field in the morning. If you're looking for a quiet & relaxing getaway, this is your place.

Stunning views with all the modern conveniences

We've been to Holmes with a View six or seven times - we've lost count, but we always come back for the incredible views, beautiful accommodations, and unbelievable peace there. We stayed in Suite 3 this time (center house, top floor), and this one is definitely our favorite. It's private, it has stunning scenery, and it's very quiet. The fireplace is so warm and cozy, and the furniture is positioned so that you can sit around the fire and talk, plus still see the rolling hills outside (we also watched the children from the neighboring Amish farm laugh and sled down the hills one morning - so adorable). There is a full kitchen with gas stove/oven, full size fridge and peninsula, plus there is a family style table if you prefer to eat there. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable and so well-decorated. Each has an en suite bathroom. We absolutely love this place and can't wait to go back yet again.
