We absolutely loved our stay! The host is amazing. He responded to every question within minutes and offered lots of helpful suggestions. The location could not have been more perfect for us! It is half a block from all of the great live music on FrenchmanSt. We went every night! We could not hear the music from our room, but we could hear street noise on the weekend. Slept well with ear plugs. The Marigny felt very safe, full of funky art and neighborhood restaurants and bars. People in New Orleans are friendly. Loved being close to the French Quarter but not in it. We downloaded the Le Pass app and went all over the city on the streetcars and buses. The city is very walkable.

Our stay was amazing! Our first trip to New Orleans and the owners of this amazing home made it absolutely perfect! The restaurant recommendations from them were amazing and so was the music recommendations! Walking distance to everything but just far enough to get some peace and sleep. Beautiful home, beautiful neighborhood, and very simple check in. From the recommendations to the simple act of caring and checking in to make sure our stay was going well we can honestly say when we book a trip back to New Orleans we will only book Masion Royal!

Quiet and relaxing

Perfect studio to stay for a day or longer, just next to Frenchman st. Close enough for local pubs and venues and just beyond from Bourbon area rhat you can still walk there in about 19 minutes. Bed is comfy bathroom great, has a small fridge for waters and microwave to reheat leftovers. Place is clean and host is very responsive. I come back here every chance i have.

Perfect spot for exploring the Maringy and going to the Jazz Fest!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay during the Jazz Fest. There was plenty of space for the 2 of us, and the bedroom and bathroom were very clean and had everything we needed. Although we didn't use the coffee maker (too many good places to get coffee - shout out to the Ayu Bakehouse, and my personal favorite breakfast spot, Verti Marte), it was appreciated, as were the guest information book and extra towels. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. We had a very minor issue with the showerhead, and the host was prompt and helpful. The suite is literally steps from Frenchman street - it could not be more convenient for all the live music venues. That does also mean that the party is essentially outside your front door. I'm a sound sleeper so it didn't keep me from getting a good night's sleep!

Sweet little hideaway

Great weekend getaway!

This place was perfect for a friend and I to visit for a weekend. It was within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. It was cute and cozy and had everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with and responded back very quickly. Would definitely book again if we decided to return!

70th Shindig Vacation

We were in NOLA to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday and the Big Easy did not disappoint. First picking the Maison Royal was the perfect decision, not only is it in walking distance to almost everything. The bed is so comfortable, there is a coffee maker and fridge in the room. We walked down Frenchmen Street every night and listened to live music. We felt safe everywhere we went. My husband left his meds at home, so we had them mailed overnight express, the property managers Wallace and Rebecca were so helpful in making sure we received our package. I recommend the Maison Royal to any age couple wanting a weekend getaway or a week stay. We stayed 5 nights. This place is awesome.

Overall Incredible Place!

We’ve been to NOLA several times and this was one of our favorite places to stay! Perfect location and felt very safe, but do not stay here if you’re even the tiniest bit of a light sleeper. There is no sound barrier whatsoever between the other rooms and outside. We expected the nightlife noise of course, but we could hear the neighbors clinking their coffee cup all early morning (through earplugs!) and it was so annoying. I also tried to open a closet looking for a blanket to find out it was the shared door to the neighbor. It was locked obviously, but I would suggest to the host to put a small note on the doors so nobody else does the same. Two doors in the room lead to other rooms, so be mindful of that. Regardless, there were NO privacy issues at all and the neighbor sounds were the only complaint. Everything else was perfect and this place was so charming. Super responsive hosts and a beautiful home. We’d stay again for sure.
