  • Your cozy getaway awaits in New Orleans at this fabulous house. With two bedrooms featuring a queen and a king bed, guests enjoy plenty of space to relax. There is secure and gated parking to go along with the back yard space for outdoor relaxation. The two bathrooms include a bathtub and hair dryer, making your stay comfortable and convenient. Both bedrooms have en-suite access to a bathroom. The queen bedroom bathroom is jack and jill and can be accessed via the bedroom or the common hallway. All bathrooms include towels, toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen is equipped with all needed cooking supplies, coffee maker, coffee, creamer, sugar and filters. The living room and kitchen areas are an open concept and are great for entertainment or just some quality time as a group. There are convenience stores, fast food, restaurants and bars all within 4-5 blocks of the property. Please let us know if there any additional items that you may have questions about! Very clean with spacious bedrooms, kitchen and dining great for entertaining. Would recommend the apartment, close to Bywater which is a plus.

Location has easy access to French quarter but is just far enough from tourist hub so it's a little calmer (which was nice). Property was as described... very cute and comfortable. Excellent communication with hosts. Zero problems. Would definitely recommend.

The property pictures were similar but the lighting of the picture made the house look more modern. The neighborhood is questionable, the house is located next to a multi-family house which is being renovated. This neighborhood did not particularly feel safe.The host was responsive when we reached out to him. When returning to the house at night we had a difficult time getting into the gated area, it took us four attempts before we were able to get into. The security of the house was also questionable, there was not a top lock only a deadbolt to secure the door. The furniture was stained, there is a roach trap under the tv stand in the sitting area. There are broken blinds in the sitting area. The door has a hole in the bottom of the door. There is a hole in the master bedroom were the Toliet paper holder was. Toilet paper was on the back of the Toliet.

This served as our home-away-from-home for a weekend while visiting friends in the city, seeing the tall ships for Sail250, and Gothic Market at the Alario Center. My wife, adult sons and 12 year old stayed. Off-street parking was very nice feature. The entry gate is a little complex but clear instructions were given and my 12 year old was able handle it. Parking area was limestone gravel. My wife is wheelchair bound but can carefully manage steps where needed. There is no ramp, you'll need to navigate four steps to get up to the door. It was manageable, our own house doesn't have a ramp. Once inside, the hallways, kitchen, living room and master bedroom are plenty spacious for wheelchair access. We opted for insurance because we just knew we'd potentially scrape a wall here or there, but that wasn't the case. The bathrooms were tight for wheelchair access, but my wife was able to step into the hall bathroom relatively easily. Plenty of space to entertain guests. Ice trays instead of icemaker, no biggie, just stay ahead of it. AC units kept the place plenty cool during the 95F weekend. Front door only stays shut with deadbolt engaged, so if someone was careless the door would open and threaten the nice cool air inside. Plenty of linens, towels, kitchenware, soap, shampoo, dishwashing stuff. The interior looks more 'lived-in' than some rentals, but it was very clean and comfortable. Wifi struggled a bit for streaming TV shows.We enjoyed the stay.
