    The Space:

    Your home quarters share a huge backyard terrace with the neighboring unit. Just 5 minutes east of Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, 10 minutes from the French Quarter and easy access to all nearby attractions.

    The home is fully furnished and decorated with curated antiques and art, along with top of the line equipment and modern luxuries.

    Your plush down comforters and memory foam pillows will ensure a good night’s sleep, leaving you rejuvenated and ready to explore all what New Orleans has to offer.



    Primp and pamper before the day with our complementary bath products and hair dryers.

    With high speed internet and two smart LCD TVs, everyone can share their adventures, catch up on work, and binge watch all at once. Fresh linens and toiletries are provided for each guest.

    The guests will enjoy the entire place exclusively for themselves. Keyless entry with backdoor access.



    The Neighborhood:

    This historic neighborhood is where several famous jazz musicians got their start as well as being the birthplace of monumental moments in civil rights history such as where Martin Luther King Jr.’s Southern Christian Leadership conference was founded.

    The main strip, Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, offers many unpretentious shops and restaurants to pop in and out of. Major nearby attractions include Martin Luther King Jr. statue, the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, Ashe Cultural Arts Center and live music at the New Orleans Jazz Market.



    Getting Around:

    The closest bus stop is a short walk to Loyola at Seventh Street.

    Taxis and ride shares such as Uber and Lyft, also operate heavily in the area.

    For those traveling by car parking in front of the house is readily available.

    Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is just a 20 minute drive.



    Other Things to Note:

    Terrific for family gatherings, or to come and visit NOLA for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, etc.

Really enjoyed our stay here - great location on a couple bus lines; fully stocked with everything you need; very clean interior (the couch on the porch needs to go - an eyesore); not far from Magazine St which is a much mellowed area compared to the French Quarter...Highly recommend!

Property was clean and beautiful inside outside not so much. The tree over the steps need to be trimmed. The neighbors were arguing most of the time which was a disturbance. We came for the Essence Festival and the Property was close to the venue so we were happy about that.

We enjoyed our stay at the property the only complaint we had was day arrived 53 mikes out we were notified not to use the front shower it need pairs no accommodation was offer. For 4 adult to have share a shower instead of two per room was difficult. No other problems at the property. It was clean, nice, everything in tge kitchen worked and not to far all attractions of the city.photos was accurate property. We would stay with this host again.

The apt was a great stay for our trip! We loved having plenty of beds for our whole group and the ability to use the amenities of a full house. The apartment was clean and comfy. Soaps were provided which was also nice. The only thing I would recommend is restocking the kitchen with tools so it’s easier to cook while in the space. Overall we enjoyed and would stay again!

This was the first time I used VRBO and the experience was great. Our host was so responsive to my inquiries, and the place itself was very comfortable and cute. I loved the shotgun house floor plan. The neighborhood was quiet and there was a convenience store just down the block. Overall, I would stay here again if I were in New Orleans.

Marvelous Mardi Gras!

We had an absolute wonderful time! The house is perfect, and had everything we needed. We walked to the parade routes, which were a little far but definitely doable! Would totally stay here again.

Great little place

Overall this property is exactly as stated in the listing. Room layout is a bit odd, but very accommodating. Interior very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Neighborhood is a bit suspect, but we had no issues.

Interior is great, clean, and well kept, beds are very comfortable, and it was pretty easy to have 6 guests in there as long as you have people comfortable sharing queen beds. Host was very responsive and didn't have a laundry list of check in/check out things for us to do. Its a great place to stay with friends for a trip to New Orleans. Only things to be wary of: right on the cusp of an unsafe area of New Orleans, so be careful being out after dark. Also, downstairs neighbors were not considerate of quiet hours in the slightest, heard very loud conversation almost every night around 3 am. But if you sleep hard, this is not an issue. We enjoyed our stay overall

A lifesaver for Eras!

After a property we booked in November of 2023 canceled on us 17 days before we were flying into NOLA we were so please to find the Chic condo still available while Taylor was in town. 4 ladies 4 beds and 2 bathrooms was perfect for us!

We were greeted by an upside down couch at the front door! This is a Typical New Orleans home layout where you have to go through bedroom one to get to bedroom two to get to bedroom 3 and the two bathrooms which were clean and were nice. There’s no bath soap so we had to buy some. Some of the furniture were stained (gross) couch was a little uncomfortable, and springy. Beds were OK. The pillows were filthy dirty. Stove was dirty. Host was accommodating with any questions that we had, I gave pictures to him of the dirtiness of the home, furniture, kitchen. The condo is on a busy street called Louisiana. There’s a small grocery store two blocks from the home which was convenient and also had hot meals and entrées. Other than that we Uber everywhere as well as to the jazz fest.

We stayed 2 nights here. The unit was extremely clean and had a lot of time and love invested into it. The layout was in that of the iconic shot gun style home. Bed in master could use an update. Extra bathroom was a plus for us. We ain’t use stove but it did work as did the fridge/freezer. Updated photos for exterior would have been nice as the front nor back look as nice as in the photos. I’m assuming the dryer for this unit was to be shared with the neighboring unit but not a big deal as we didn’t use after all. The tree hanging over the stairs needs to be removed or managed a bit better. It was raining, and the stairs going to the unit were rather slippery. Walls are thin and the tenants in neighboring unit were loud. Upon arrival, I was a bit weary of the neighborhood, but it was quiet and the corner store/market were a great convenience to us the first night. My significant other loved the food! Parking was tricky as it was like a first come basis with whoever arrived first and weren’t too sure where exactly else we could legally and safely park. The street is extremely busy from the start of the day until early evening. Overall, the stay was pleasant and knowing what I know now, I would book again. Price was good for the stay.

It was nice

It was decent. Reasonably priced. Parking was okay and I was there during Mardi gras. The beds were comfortable. The only thing was the cleaning staff forgot to put out towels. Overall, I wouldn't mind staying again.

Great Location

Easy to get around. Property was clean and easy to find. Street parking was the only negative, but it was not bad at all. I also did not realize this was a second floor unit, but that is on me. Great place would stay again.

The place was comfortable, but needs a good cleaning. We stayed two weeks. The steep fire escape steps to get into the rental felt treacherous in the rain and would be really difficult for kids and for people with mobility challenges. The biggest problem with the place is that this unit has noisy neighbors. It is in a four plex building and the neighbors below and to the side played loud music and were loud. The walls are quite thin. On Friday and Saturday nights, the parties went until 6 am.

Overall good

This review is purely about the team. The house itself has no big problems, it’s just me, coming over new year celebration time, I overestimated my tolerance to noise, so if you’re a light sleeper like me, probably not a good choice. What amazed me was how flexible and adaptable this team is. Some of them were on vacation too, but they worked hard to make my last minute request come true so we transferred seamlessly. All I can say is if you’re booking any of their properties, you know you’re in good hands. I’m so glad we found them and we’re so grateful despite what has happened, we still have had a great vacation after all!

Shotgun Style

Didn’t like the fact that you walk through all bedrooms as they are all in the back. To get to the furthest bedroom, you have to walk through the first two. Washer on the back porch, not so clean or handy. The dryer is on the other tenants back porch. Didn’t love the set up. Thin walls, could hear the neighbors just talking.

Condo is well renovated- you can tell they put a lot of work into making it cute. On the flip side, cleaners need to do a better job as we found small things missed when we checked in. Also lots of little things were broken like the trash can, no remote for the TV etc. Nothing too crazy but not what I expect from somewhere I am paying to stay. The owner offered to have the landlord come and fix them while we were there and it wasnt necessary; I just cleaned up what i noticed. Neighborhood was definitely a concern to my kids and parking was confusing because the whole front of the building said handicapped parking. I asked twice for someone to clarify if we could park there and I only got an automated message from the host instead of an actual answer. We saw someone who lived on that block on the second day said we could park there and it didn't matter.Would not recommend for a family due to neighbors being loud late into the night (past 4am) and there are a LOT of stairs. We traveled with 2 young kids and an elderly person, all who were scared at how skinny and steep the stairs are.
