Located at the foothills of the Hocking Hills

  • A la vuelta del siglo mi gran abuelo y abuela, George y Golda Scott, adquirieron esta finca.

    En 1963, cuando mi padre se graduó de la Ohio State con un título en la agricultura, gran abuelo George él y mi madre dio a esta granja.

    Mis padres cultivaban este (junto con unos 900 otros acres) y plantearon tres hijas aquí.

    Después de la muerte de mis padres en 2004 y 2005, I, Dalelene, que hija del medio, y mi marido, Dave, y nuestra hija menor compré la granja y se trasladó aquí desde Lancaster. Estamos tan contentos de vivir aquí.

    Después de vivir "de vuelta a casa" durante cinco años, hemos decidido utilizar esta hermosa finca para algo más que una residencia.

    El George y Goldie CabinWe pensaban que otros disfrutar de nuestros 80 acres. Así, con la ayuda de Ron Blanco Constructores, construimos nuestra primera cabina para permitir que otros experimentan la tranquilidad, serenidad, y la soledad de nuestra granja familiar. Hemos llamado a esta primera cabina después de mis bisabuelos, George y Golda (llamé a su abuela Goldi) de Scott; George y Goldi.

    Esperamos que disfrute de la propiedad y recuerda con cariño, su tiempo aquí.

Great cozy cabin for a couples weekend getaway. Big hot tub and when the sky is clear it was a perfect spot for stargazing!

Loved the George and Goldie cabin! View from the covered front porch was beautiful. The number of different bird species was incredible. The hot tub was great, the bed was comfortable (as was the living room seating) and the fire pit was relaxing after a long day of hiking in Hocking Hills or biking the Hockhocking Adena trail. Host was great to work with.

AC was cold, Fireplace warm, and hot tub worked. The cabin was beautiful and the surrounding views just as beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Everything was as listed. Ww don't have a bad thing to say about our stay. Loved the fire pit. We had our first two fires of the year. It also gave us an idea of how to enhance our own fire pit.

This was my second time staying at this wonderful cabin with my pup, and we had a great time, again! My dog loved exploring the property and we both enjoyed spending time on the front porch taking in the peace and quiet. We even got to watch a beautiful sunset from the porch this time around! We went to Ash Cave and Cedar Falls again this trip, but also checked out some new trails to us that were closer to the cabin, which was fun. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, and Dave and Dalelene are always great hosts. It was also nice to be able to stream the NBA Finals, so that we could witness the Knicks winning the championship for the first time in 53 years. :) We hope to be back soon!

Everything was as described! The view was great (even on the last day when it snowed) My husband enjoyed some relaxation in the hot tub. Great location for OU parents to stay!

We had an amazing time celebrating my bday at this beautiful cabin. It was so peaceful and private. The hot tub was a large comfortable one and the fireplace was perfect! They had great directions explaining how to use everything in the cabin. We had a little friend cat come visit us while we were enjoying listening to the wildlife. We love the history of the place

Beautiful property, great amenities, easy directions, good communication from the hosts! It was perfect for the 2 of us & we appreciated it being dog-friendly so we could bring our fur baby along!
