Owners were very jfil helpful to help our stay be wonderful. They even bought a pot large so we could cook corn I will stay there again if I’m in the area.

We all enjoyed staying here and were very comfortable. The hosts offered to help with any issues - but there were none! I happily recommend this historic home.

Great trip to in memory of dad

We had a great time, we loved the house. The fire pit was amazing, we had smores one night and grilled steaks on the patio.

History and Charm

We really enjoyed our stay. The games provided were enjoyable to play in the evenings. House was very clean and the bedrooms were charming. Really comfy beds.

Great place to stay!

Plenty of comfortable space indoors and several patio spots outdoors. Easy to access from interstate and lots of parking for guests cars. Pet friendly was important to us and there’s even a fenced dog run. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful amenities. Quite private but host was attentive by text and emails before and during our stay.

Wonderful Property!

We had an amazing time. The furniture and house takes you back centuries. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever had at a hotel or VRBO. Will visit again!

Great getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vaiden Inn. We were close enough to Williamsburg for a very easy day trip. The property is beautiful, and Jess has it so nicely appointed!!!!

Amazing Gem in New Kent

Came together with a group of friends to celebrate many things. Can’t say enough about the host and staff’s friendliness as well as maintaining a beautiful location at the Vaiden Inn. We’ll be back!!

Convenient Location!

Easy access off of I64. Brought 2 Golden Retrievers that loved the 8 acres of freedom! Great indoor and outdoor space. 5 deer checked us out on our return from Williamsburg. Martha's Kitchen and Trojan Grill were great restaurants!

History Lover's Dream

We enjoyed our stay at Vaiden Inn . It has a wonderful historic atmosphere while being very comfortable with modern conveniences . The beds were comfortable and the Inn was very clean . The grounds were lovely . The 2 coffee stations with a huge selection of coffees and cocoas were a welcome treat . Jess was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the local history . We had fun eating at Martha's Kitchen .

The perfect solution for my family and I

My family and I were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect location for our long weekend getaway. I appreciated Jess’s patience as I had a ton of questions and just wanted to find a cute place to stay and relax. This felt like home and honestly we would have stayed for a whole week if our schedules allowed!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful Historic Property

We were so lucky to find this amazing property! The pictures don’t do it justice. Beds were extremely comfortable, house was very clean and well maintained. All bedrooms had well-appointed bathrooms. While we were there due to emergency repairs to our home, this would be an amazing place for a bridal party.

Wonderful Historic Home

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful old home. Our family was attending a memorial service in West Point and the location was excellent. There were four adults, one teenager, and two twelve year olds, so it was an excellent fit. My only regret was that family events kept us from taking advantage of everything the inn had to offer.

Colonial Life

The house was amazing. The deco was beautiful. The two coffee stations was perfect. In a couple of the bedrooms, there was a lot of road noise. But, the ambience of the house was so perfect, that a little road noise did not interfere with sleeping.

Great place with plenty of room for the large extended family… and dogs. WiFi worked well as did the smart TVs. Dogs loved running in the fields and woods. liked that there was a fire already prepared with extra wood stacked nearby. We tried Martha’s Kitchen (across the street) and Trojan Grill (great draft beer selection and Acoustic guitarist)! An excellent value for comfortable lodging if you find yourself the area.

Great Weekend Getaway

The Vaiden Inn offered us an opportunity to relax and reconnect as a family for a weekend. The accomodations were extremely comfortable for the 6 of us and had all of the amenities of home. We did walk around the property before it started raining. Any American history enthusiast would really enjoy this location. The house and the grounds are simply amazing. It's too bad we couldn't stay longer than a weekend...there's always next time! -The Perez Family

Just what we were looking for.

The Inn was just what we were looking for. It was liking stepping back in time. Perfect location and accommodated our family of 7. House was decorated for Christmas. Santa was able to come down the chimney with the grandson gifts. Even though we only had the kitchenet we where still able to cook most of our meals. Jess was a true angel when a family emergency arrived. I highly recommend staying at The Vaiden Inn.
