"We loved our stay at the Carriage House. Patrick and Kathryn were wonderful hosts. They provided information in a timely manner, and were quick to respond to any questions. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and Patrick and Kathryn included truly thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for exploring Croton-on-Hudson and the Hudson Valley. We'd love to come back!"

"This exact property is not available to rent, however it is still on the website and is able to be paid for. We did not know this until check-in and realized we never received a code to get in. It was only when we called the number attached to this property is when we found out that it is not supposed to be available. The owner we spoke to was helpful and relocated us to another property only 5 mins away from the original, which turned out to be a lovely place. It all worked out in the end, but...

"I was very impressed with this "hotel". It is more of an AirBB as your unit is an apartment in an apartment building with permant residents. It comes nicely furnished, including basic kitchen essentials (like service for four, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc). All of the amenities are modern, and the in-unit washer dryer is a huge plus. "The host Cancelled our stay 30 minutes before check in. There was no communication from the host and would not have known he was canceling if i had not reached out about check in instructions. Very unprofessional and left us in a pickle as we were over 2 hrs from home and had an event we had tickets for. VRBO did right by us but this was unacceptable from the host"

"I believe it's the furnished basement of the house with its own entrance. There's a bedroom, sitting area, bathroom/shower, A/C, microwave, mini fridge, iron, TVs. It's nothing fancy but was suitable for my needs (a decent place to sleep and shower). "The property was almost exactly as described. The cabin has character and makes you feel at home with the decorations. We had our young grandkids (2 and 4) staying with us. There was plenty of room for them to play, and they loved the bunk beds! When they say the drive is rough, believe it. If you have a car with little ground clearance (Chevy Malibu), you really have to weave around to keep from scraping. Our kids had a mini van and an SUV and they had no problems. "The place was a great base for us when we visited family in NJ and NY. Super clean, very comfortable beds, and easy parking and check in. One bedroom and bathroom are in the basement, in case anyone in your party is mobility limited. The upstairs neighbors do make a little normal noise, sometimes later at night, so maybe bring earplugs if you are a very light sleeper. "

" At first i was confused becoz i was thinking a hotel type place but it was a house in a residential area. The room was cozy , place was clean but the only thing is its hard to communicate with the host at first and if you are person who is okay with shared bathroom then this is your place "

"I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO RATE THIS PLACE BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS FRAUDULENT!!! There is an entire family living in this home!! I was scammed out of my money & VRBO did not accommodate me for their mess up on a 900 mile trip. Site is not to be trusted and they gave no strrrm put in place for situations like this except to keep spending money."
